i completely agree -- WAY too much movement esp w/ the flutist. unfortunately that's pretty typical of all flute players...but not me! :)

@SKEflute thats bcoz we're endowed with a great range of motion, naturally, unlike other instrument postures.

His movements need to be exaggerated so that the entire ensemble can see and feel the correct tempo. This is a recording session not meant to be actually seen (but it IS nice, isn't it?) His rehearsal/recording techniques are probably different than those he would use in front of a live audience.
