No it isn't. The Supreme Court ruled in 1994 that a parody can be a fair use of an original without permission or royalties. Read up on that before accusing APX of stealing.
@777jsca ACTUALLY they have started copyrighting composition as well now... meaning yeah you can NOW copyright sound... stuff's getting out of hand. Great Parody man God Bless :)
this song is just a disgrace to themselves... ozzys a huge christian, and this isnt even being turned into a christian song, its just ripping on him for what hes done in the past... isnt being christian something about "forgiveness" not ripping on someone calling him evil? fail group!
Who says Ozzy is a huge Christian. Just because he's a practicing Anglican does not make him a Christian. He acts very worldly in the public eye, so he isn't fooling me by saying he follows Jesus.
In the original, maybe. But here, it's a parody. The lyrics aren't talking about "crazy trains" anymore. They're talking about the Osbournes.... Hence, they changed it to "Osbournes"
I approved it. :) I liked your creativity, in putting that on. But just to throw out there, I don't really approve of Guitar Hero. I've seen a lot of "interesting" symbols floating around on some of those songs... But, each to their own. Hope you get lots of hits!! :)
This is funny. I like both lyrical versions. This song's lyrics actually weren't that bad to begin with. And the solo was done well. But you just can't beat RANDO!!!!!!!!
This is also true. Some don't because of the commercialism, which is weird. You don't have to get wrapped up in the commercialism to celebrate the fact that God's Son came to earth... Also, Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate it. One of my best friends is a JW, and they don't celebrate Christmas, Easter, Birthdays, etc. (I'm not sure about Thanksgiving...) But she said they don't celebrate (most?) holidays.
Actually, a lot of so-called "pagan traditions" have been incorporated in the Christmas season. This is also true for Easter. However, the important thing to remember the real "reason for the season." .....Gluttony!!!! Jk. :)
weeeell, it rhymed. They probably should've worded that a little differently. That's the thing with Apologetix. I love their music and all because it allows me to hear the tune with out the original lyrics. But I've noticed that they're words don't always flow. Honestly, Weird Al beats the heck out of them with keeping his lyrics smooth and flowing. Something about Apologetix is just more choppy. I suppose it's because they have a limited range of subjects...
lyrically the song seems a bit to bashing, Apologetix should probably focus more preaching and less on judging. Its not really Apologetix's place to judge ozzy, i like the alice cooper part better.
It makes me shudder in revulsion to think that I share the planet with scumbags of the ApologetiX ilk.

Yeah. I think the peole we know who didnt celebrate it is because, for some weird reason, they thought it was a pagan holiday!

I wouldn't have though judgemental, but, yeah, they could've had some different lyrics. Although, again, they have a limited spectrum to work with.
