  • Hey! OMG! I also use Moisture Milks and I whip my shea butter that I buy. What I use to moisturize my thin, long hair is aloe vera juice, EVOO, castor oil, and jojoba oil.

  • hey ,

did u mean the hard outer layer? cuz i sliced that off and dug out the meat/jelly on the inside. thats the part that i blended......

i guess that's what i've learned through our culture to be the good stuff.....for burns or irritations, for hair, even for drawing out a cold ... :-) .......

  • @21bahamas yea, the hard layer was what I was talking about. My hubby got me hip to all the uses for aloe :-)

  • that sux. did you get your logo patented? if you havent yet, you definitely should so you can sue them lol

  • @123abcgagaga it's registered though not patented. I'm not sure you can patent a logo.... I sent a cease and desist but at the moment, i'm buried with other things. Seeing as we now live in the same area, maybe i'll just pop up at one of their (her, its really a single individual trying to use the logo) events :-)

  • Love tht cuff!!!

  • This is a great idea Ria! The only thing is I dont have that many natural products to choose from. I have EVOO, ACV, water, and Your whipped shea butter mix (which is amazing). I will try to do something with those. Like hot EVOO treatments ACV rinses and style with Your Whipped Shea Mix. I use Carols Daughter Rosemary mint condish to wash my hair. Mission How Natural Can I be is a GO!

  • @natashwill Yay! Honestly, I'll probably only be using shea butter. Its so simple for me. I'm glad you liked it!

  • Great challenge. I have just purchased some essential oils.

  • @zheahra Which ones did you get?

  • @SumKindaWndrful I have essential oils of peppermint, grapefruit, and orange.

  • great challenge, i feel like i am already in, my staples are all natural, but i am into buying the ready-made stuff!! lol :) and i do use some not-so-natural stuff every now and again, so i am not ready for the full challenge as yet, so i will hold off for now. It's cool you are doing it, fab challenge, maybe i will do mine as a new year resolution in a few months :)

  • @louloumatou Let me know, (I'm sure you'll vlog it) when you do! I'd love to join in then too.

  • Im in!! lol Does it count if I already use already natural stuff?? cause Im into the natural as a matter of a fact its time to make a batch of flax seed gel hahaha

  • @ladiepink Of course it counts! Like I mentioned, I'd already been doing this but didn't want to announce it until I was sure I could stick with it!

  • I'm in! I used to use the simplest things on my hair and then I started venturing out and trying different products... But I miss and love the simplicity of the one ingredient natural products.

  • @PneumaB It is so much simpler, right? I don't have to wonder what I'll use today because it's down to a choice or two!

  • Great challenge! I've been on this challenge ever, since I did my BC a year ago, yes, you'll see an enormous change, not only on your hair, by on your skin as well. I love it! So, I'm all for this challenge, lol!

  • I would love to do this challenge! As a matter of fact, I've been on this journey all year. I use black soap for shampoo to clarify my hair. I use bentonite clay in between my washes. I use black tea rinses. I use aloe vera and apple cider as a spritz sometimes. I use shea butter, mango butter, coconut oil, babassu oil, etc... But, I'm doing this because my company will be launching soon and I will be selling these products...at reasonable cost of course! I can still join the challenge right?

  • @StormyHair Now I've got questions!! What does the black tea rinses do? And this company... how can I find out about it? :-) And yes, you can join!

  • @SumKindaWndrful black tea is good for strengthening the hair and reducing some unnecessary shedding/breakage. It can also help with darkening the hair color. As for the company goes, I haven't launched it yet although it's been in the works for about a year now. I will be launching this month though (crossing fingers).

  • Shea butter and water to do evrything

  • @AmeeraHill lol, that's pretty much exactly what I'm doing!

  • @SumKindaWndrful hey what should i use on my hair when i'm getting braids or while i have braids in my hair what should i do to keep my hair moisturized and help it to grow??

  • @SumKindaWndrful hey what should i use on my hair when i'm getting braids or while i have braids in my hair what should i do to keep my hair moisturized and help it to grow??

  • Sounds like a great challenge. I probably won't join cause of lack of time. But I will say that the absolute only ingredients I currently use are water and castor oil. Best wishes on the challenge!

  • @maximuslyricus Thanks!

  • great challenge. water as natural as you can get and very cheap

  • @PLUNSABUG37 True!! :-) But, water can't hold styles, that's why I I was focusing on styling products.

  • i'm excited to try this :-).......(i have an aloe plant.......i've recently started picking leaves from and blending and using directly after :-))) )

  • @21bahamas Funny you mentioned this. It was when I was in Nassau that I began using and experimenting with raw aloe. But I read somewhere that the actually leaves, the outside green part, does nothing though many beauty products simply use it as filler. You know anything about that?
