Oh, I too know that the Melvins are probably the best band in the world( as long as you can speak of that) BUT: This album has only two outstanding songs.Namely; the Bit and the song with the incredible baseline! But remember! It's only my opinion! I dont like the double singing that much either, but the quality of their new stuff is far above other bands songs. . I'm a severe Melvins-fan, but I refuse to just like it ALL just because they are the Melvins

I once saw them live, playing during a documentary from Cameron Jamie. Later I came to know that they performed 'See how Pretty, See how Smart' and some stuff from Pigs of the Roman Empire. Amazing ain't it? My head exploded!! Some stupid men handed us some earplugs over at the entrance. Extreme loud performance!

@BuzzoQueen I think that "The Bride Screamed Murder" is the most consistent and elaborated melvins record in a long time, I love all of Melvins records (and songs) without a exception, but when I listen to that one it feels solid without losing a groove, I really love it, the percussion leads the album.

They also dont play "Honky" wich is a essential one, we can also talk about Ozma and etc. Stag is ambiguous, but believe me, is a masterpiece.

What an awesome song. I saw this live in Vancouver '07 (I think). Crover's drug parts are simply phenomenal -- 0:56 to 1:44 in particular. Buzz and co. have been active for what -- 27 years or something? LONG LIVE THE MELVINS!
