@PhantomDrums917 There are rumours of a Broadway transfer in 2013. Stephen Sondheim saw the production in Chichester and loved it. He apparently would like to bring it(and it's two stars) to NYC.

@fireflyhiro People WILL be laughing - so will you I'm sure. But It's not drowning out Michael and Imelda IMO. You have to remember that recordings like this almost always distorts the sound to some degree.

@Sweeney541 I wasn't assuming you did. It sounds like they need to pick up the tempo. The song is more fun that way and the jokes come off faster so the audience doesn't have time to anticipate the punchlines.

@lcowles I actually think tempo and comic timing is perfect here and on the whole show. Maybe you're thinking of the film, yeah, there they do it quicker, but I think it's boring there! Here it's funnier!
