You must be pretty uneducated if you don't know that almost all Russias neigbours (including Kazakhstan) were a part of the soviet union. These tests that were made way before 90's and therefore in their own country...

The US also tested in the Polynesian islands, Marshall, Bikini Attol's, Russia used their own as above. UK used Australian Aboriginal lands and Christmas island. a nuclear war wouldnt kill us it has been proven in hiroshima wich has been recolonized and here in kazhakstan the animals that survived nucler fallout in hiroshima were not totally killed and lived their until it was recolonized and now that humans are back their we have proven that radio active contamination cannot wipe us out if it did no one who lives in areas of kazhakstan or hiroshima would be alive however they do run a much higher risk of cancer and deformities at birth

It can do more then you think. Within 20km of the explosion, you will be badly sunburnt. And the radiation spreads fast. The fallout can not infect us. You must have a underground room with 5 inch steel / metal thickness walls / door to protect yourself from the radiation.

never the less if the humans who returned to hiroshima and still live in the areas of kazhastan and a small town near chernobyl with very high amounts of radiation still in the area and have shown that they can still live and prosper then thats proof that a nuclear war simply wouldnt whip us out we would face hardships and we wouldnt look the same but we would still survive all types of life have a incredible instinct for survival and we would survive as it shows in hiroshima and kazhastan

People have died due to nuclear testing in the US, thats why they stopped doing it, but they still deny the claims of the deaths and deformities due to it.
