  • how is it using the glidecam 4000? its it really smooth operating camera control?

  • @TheNickolivas Takes time to get it right and with light cameras its even more difficult..

Go with the HD4000 if your camera is heavy. I have that one too.. Way better for the price.

  • very smooth for 24p! where's the dreaded judder when panning?

  • @johnnyViDeO This video has a nasty hicup tho! ! I'm going to upload this in HD.. the format you are watching is DVD format! it has a funny hicup pause every few sec. This has nothing to do with the camera but the format I chose render at the time... This camera is very good.. Now its half the price...

look for this video. It has the clip of the guy blowing the terrace. I was shooting at high shutter speed.

    > Panasonic AG-HMC150 1080p 24fps 3 2 pulldown HD<

  • looks like dslr footage...i have a 150 but the image doesnt look as edgy as yours are you maybe using a lens adapter or is this just raw dog footage with color correction?

  • @albaismybtch

This video is all HMC150! No lens adapters..

Camera is set to manual, IRIS is wide open, ND 1/4 - 1080p-24fps @ 120th shutter speed for crisp sharp frames.. resampling is also disable in vevas video to avoid the double image blur.

I used a color curve for saturation...

    Sony Vegas 9 pro

  • @girotube hey thanks man appreiciate you getting back to me, very helpful> your footage looks great guess i gotta try and squeeze a little bit more out of my 150 hahaa still new to the camera:))

  • I will re-render this video on Vegas Pro 9 in HD.

    Take care people.!

  • Ah cool. Looking forward to it. I like your color adjustments I want to see it in true HD. =D

  • Wait is this an HD camera? I see the HD option but the video doesn't look like 1080p. The colors look great though.

I need to buy a wide angle lens.. =(

  • Yes HD cam but the video is not! I just rendered to DVD format. It has some annoying jetter from the youtube compression.

Get it! it has a nice wide angle lens.

On these videos I'm testing the camera and messing with diff frame rates etc.. I'll be shooting in 24p

  • nice man, i use the hmc-150 and glidecam 4000 too

I dont like how the telescopic post comes loose sometimes on mine...

  • sounds like something is stripped and is not holding.. mine is fine...

  • i took the telescopic part off and just tightned the pole connecting to the weight plate, it seemed to fix it.

  • wow. thanks for the inputs sirs.

  • Nice work Man!!!

Congrats on the new gun and stabilizer...

  • very nice video sir.

did you use any wide angle lens?

  • Hi! Thanx..

The camera comes with a nice Leica wide angle lens and it fits 72mm filters..

  • Don't need a wide angle on this 150, stock lens is wide enough at 28mm (in 35mm equivalent). Any wide angle put on will entail distortion. I am using Century Optics 0.6X W/A ADAPTER HD 170/150 BAY, which gives 17.6mm but partial zoom capability. Quite a bit of distortion at that focal length. The Century Optics 0.8X W/A HD CONV 170/150 will be a better choice giving 23.4mm with full zoom capability. Just slight distortion but at a very expensive price tag.

    IMHO, you don't need one.
