I know it sounds crazy, but imagine a game that had a group of killers as the main characters all from other games in one. It's in Chapter 4, of Metal Gear Solid 4. Make it to the Canyon, and call Otacon a few times. Eventually, he'll start reminiscing about Snake's boss battle against Vulcan Raven in Metal Gear Solid 1. Otacon will ask Snake how he beat Raven, and Snake will give a brief description of how he won. Otacon will then proceed to compliment Snake, in his own way.

The same Codec conversation can occur in several areas after the Canyon, so be on the lookout for it.

Here is my two cents about Raiden. It was fun playing as him in MGS2 because of his character. He is like the gamer, being new to whats going on. Sure he may come off as a bit whiny, but he has my sympathies on all he has been through. Then, seeing him in MGS4, there was new-found respect for him. He had matured, but not for the best. He had more of a sense about the world, but still needed to learn. All in all, hes a total bad-ass and I await to learn more in Rising.

if i was you, if ur a true fan of the MGS series, I wouldnt call the next game MGS5. Just call it a MGS spin off. I personally believe that Kojima was off his head when he thought of making MGS5 official. because MGS is all about the Snake family. Who is Raiden in the Snake family? No one. I'm calling Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker the fifth installment as it apparently shows the legendary missing link between MGS3 and MGS1 and it has Big Boss in it.

I don't think so. The sword Olga gave hm was lost after he fought the RAY's. He fought Solidus with one of his swords. But those were "standard" swords, while Raiden's sword in MGS4 is different looking. I don't even think it's a HF blade.

I like Raiden in MGS2, he wasn't badass like Snake but his dorkiness and sense of justice (kinda) gave him a realistic character. Hey, it's better than throwing in a character that was just as advanced and experienced as Snake.

I like Raiden in MGS4 too c: Though I miss him being a douchebag, I guess it had to happen eventually when he turns kick ass.

Oh and btw, I believe his human parts is his head and spinal cord. When Snake said his heart was human, I think he meant it metaphorically.

I don't know if any character so vilified could ever be so awesomely redeemed in such as a way as Raiden was. He literally went from hated to beloved in less than a blink of an eye.
