  • what can I say!!! simply awesome!!!

  • i used to wtch his show many years ago. always love the way he timed some of his classical pieces........and ended to the very note.at the right time. he must knw every tone, and every key on that piano intimately ! ..

  • how can anyone not love what this man can do with a piano...

  • @tigerinasuit2

he was a showman in the true sense of the word,, not just an entertainer.! always loved him.!

  • Thank you very much !

  • whatever people may say about his personal lifestyle choices and his flashy ego, the man was amazingly talented. just amazing to watch his hands fly and glide on the keyboard like its effortless. he was definitely a showman, but a genuinely talented one.

  • Thank you Prince Poppycock for reminding me about Liberace. I grew up watching and enjoying him.

  • @prodigitalinc wow...thats how i was reminded :)

  • Genius! ♥ There's a petition on Facebook on Prince Poppycock Official to save the Liberace Museum in Las Vegas. It's being closed!! Please, if you care about the contribution Liberace made to entertainment, enjoyed his fabulous talent, please sign the petition!! ♥♥

  • far out!

  • gifted.

  • My great uncle and him use to play in my great grandfathers bar befor Liberace became who he is he was proud of my uncle becouse he could play just by hearing the music once

  • He was an incredible man, amazingly gifted and brilliant. People made fun of him for being gay but not one of those people could match him in talent or in grace. In every video you watch of him, you will see a warm smile and a talented person doing what he loved. There will never be another like him, and sadly the world didnt appreciate him when they had him. Now we are left with these videos of his love for music and of a sweet human being....... Thank you for posting this video

  • Liberace belonged in Las Vegas. He entertained to the max!

  • I wish more musicians had the passion and discipline that this man had.

  • Liberace makes me feel like throwing my piano off my balcony right now, lol. He was incredible. Belongs up there with Liszt, Rachmaninoff, and Vladimir Horowitz in the piano pantheon.

  • the god of piano!! amazing talent!! such a loss to music!!!

  • Fenix nobody played like him period!

    :)

  • we will never see or hear his likes again, a terrible loss to the world of entertainment.

  • Everytime I watch Liberace play, I think of my father, who dedicated his professional playing career to emulating Liberace. It brings tears to my eyes to hear that style. RIP Dad and Liberace.

  • I love this man,he was so sweet, one of the kindest entertainers in the world

  • bossanova version rules :)

  • i love that mirror. damn shame i wasnt even born yet when this stuff was out.

  • They don't make them like that anymore. Great fun!

  • the greatest. What's great in Liberace is the lightness, the easyness, the joyous playfulness of his interpretations. Unique.

  • Mind blowing!!!!!!

  • I LOVE the bass notes on that Steinway in the first part! Magnificent rendition!

  • Its actually a Baldwin, but yes, the bass notes sound awesome.

  • Damn, and I thought I knew my pianos!

  • It's a Baldwin.

  • Lee really was talented and a special, unique person-he always seemed happy and upbeat. Truly one of a kind

  • ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!

  • Nice! The third version includes the classic "In An 18th Century Drawing Room". :)

  • masterful

  • Amazing!

  • Love the latin!

  • i luv u lee!!!

  • we all do:)

  • Oh, this is so beautiful, so classic !

    Love it

  • I always enjoy Liberace's great fantasy to seduce me with his charming simpathy and creativity on piano, he is great!!!

  • That left hand is just unfknbelievable!!!

  • There was none better.

  • GENIUS !

  • Liberace was a complete piano genius.. And the perfect entertainer. Why, his whole demenaour could bring a smile on the most depressed of person. :D

  • mecojoni !!!

  • Jesus Christ this man is a piano playing machine! The ability to take a song and play it in different styles is by far one of the most amazing abilities I can imagine. Sure somebody can play a song really well, but can you play it in 5 different styles? haha

  • A rare combination of utter genius and unbelievably high concentrations of cheesyness.

  • @fenix9885 geoffrey used to do it combining a tune called out by someone from the audience with the style called out by someone else , say mac the knife in the style of mozart , abit like this , but off the cuff unprepared !

  • WOW!!!

  • I wonder if he was gay.

  • He was very gay...

  • very gay? How do you know?

  • who didnt?

  • haha I know I know I was just messin wit ya!

  • yes, his pants wet

  • The man was a musical genius. There will never be another one like him as far as musical talent is concerned

  • Absolutely fantastic. THE performer of the century! My question- does anyone know if the piano's action was really firm or extra light? I imagine it would make a huge difference in his playing.

  • Pure genius...hat's off.

  • WOW, Liberace is just incredible. Does anyone know what arpeggio he uses at 3:31?

  • sounds like Eb with added 6th, add 9--Eb major pentatonic--starting on Eb6 C6 Bb5 G5 F5 Eb5 but it's too fast for me to hear separate notes

definitely some issues with not locking in (rushing)

  • Its a scale not an arpeggio

  • Irreplaceable..

  • That's sweet of him to say "in it's original form" but this song wasn't originally a jazz tune.

    What a smarty-pants.

  • holy shit...that's amazing!

  • fucking innovative Bravo!

  • FABULOUS

    THX

  • Dios este sr es un fenomeno, gracias por compartir estos videos

  • UN-friggin-BELIEVABLE!!!

  • Yes I have been there, and it was very nice!

I'm currently working on my own little Liberace website - it's gonna contain content infos of all the CD's, DVD's Books that are out there.

  • There was a wonderful double CD/photo booklet called An Evening On Stage With Liberace - it was produced by a photographer named Dan Helland (??) something like that....the playing is incredible....especially the Gerswhin medley....

  • Hi. Read the story on your page. Very moving, thanks for sharing this. I wonder in what condition the mirrored Baldwin is today.

  • i think iwas born jst like him, u know with the costumes and all!!

  • again amazed! wow.. if we could his music back out to the generation of today.. that would solve the suicides and grunge depressions... you cant help but smile and pat your foot and watch. let me see a rapper try to top this (technicaly and talented speaking)
