him and tom both have it. it's a slight overbite that is common amongst german people. the only way to correct it is to break the jaw and elongate it... it reverts back to it's original form 9 times out of 10 and it's practically pointless unless you have problems eating or breathing because of it.

well if the surgery was performed perfectly (or sometimes just more than once) and you were in the like 10% that don't revert it can be beneficial. Sometimes it is done just for cosmetic reasons, and sometimes it's for health reasons.

My Best friend has no problems eating or breathing, but she had it done because she didn't like the way it looked. Her jaw has since reverted back to original, so she gave up and accepted it rather than having it done again.

see i have some of the same issues as far as the teeth not lining up correctly , i have teeth that came in crooked some are crowded adn then i have teeth that have some gaps between them and according to the orthodontist i also have a slight over bite and other problems but none of them interfere with me eating or breathing yet he still thinks i might need braces , as a 14 year old girl who is a freshamn in high school that thought is horrifying
