Brahms: Wonderfully intimate and moving. You have soul, which constitutes the whole of a pianist's heart. I especially enjoyed the fact that you didn't sentimentalize at 7:03 - Brahms isn't for that.
I practically died at 8:20; what pathos and raw emotion! Wow! I'm also going to adopt your idea of continual movement at 8:29. I like the thought that the preceding music hasn't really simmered down yet and that it's still "on edge."
Brilliant playing, sir. I hope to see you at the competition. :)
Bach: Pardon me if I'm wrong, but it seemed you were a bit nervous at the beginning but really started to sing later. Your expressive palette is amazingly wide and varied. Don't be afraid to emote when you play because when you do, the results are staggering.
Love the contrast, the singing, the great Baroque tone. Great job, sir. :)
Bravo Doctor B. This generation needs to hear classical music played with the devotion, sensitivity, nuance, emotion and precision that you demonstrate. I pray that you will be allowed to share your wonderful talent with the world. I am most proud to know you. Robbie Grier
I'll be interviewing this man for my college newspaper.
