Fantastic Irish dancing. Has anyone noticed that the female dancers wearing the classier clothing performed better? Perhaps its because they concentrated on skill and not thrash.
Not impressed with the BBC commentators. Very patronising and no appreciation for traditional dance.
Ireland were fantastic. Loved Finland and commented at the time that they weren't relying on tacky, thrashy gimmicks to score points.

Aren't you asking a bit too much? I understand they had little time to learn a type of dance completely different of what they're used to, but regardless, their jive was poor, they were somewhat stiff and moved very unaturally. I was atonished with the second dance, it was very original and beautiful, but it doesn't make up for the jive. I think they earned their 3rd place, but no more.
I obviously am going to root for UK, but they were definitely better than 3rd. It is a shame that the voting has gone political now (including the song contest)...everyone votes for their neighbouring countries.

all i can say about the scoring system is what an absolute waste of time! Whats the point of us (uk) entering anything with eurovision in the title if we're not gonna get treated fairly? Well done camilla and brendon, your routines were great, just the same about camillas costume in 1st round, why cover up with pink curtain??
I'm sorry to say but they didn't deserve to finish where they did, the jive was awful! I understand that they only had a certain amount of time to learn it and it was new to them, but the lass needed to bend more and not look like she was irish dancing in both the rounds! Obv 2nd round was more natural to them both and it was a nice routine.
O you can be very proud of them. They danced really great. The first wasn`t very special, but the second...WOW. I can`t say, how many times i saw it yet. The dance, and the clothes together. Really great!! (And i`m not from Ireland ;-))
