Dan did David Copperfield, a theather play i don't rwmwmber the name, Harry Potter 1-6 so far, December Boys, My boy Jack, One ep of Extras, and is crntly doing HP7 and The journey is destination. Not to mention his fab acting in equus. but yet it is true Rupert is a very good actor and i think that ppl really concentrate on Dan and Emma and forget about him which to be honest is a crime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His movie Cherrybomb was delayed to be released, meanwhile both Dan and Emma did movies, plays, etc. without a hitch. Rup's fans had to like beg for Cherrybomb to be released. Poor Rupe. :(

To be fair. I don't think Rupert's career is being overshadowed by Dan or Emma, it's only the publicity during HP when all the focus is on Dan and Emma.

Rupert has has more movies away from HP than Dan and Emma combined. Cherrybomb is an indie film that didn't have a distributor, so it was not delayed in being released. We'll see it next year along with Wild Target. Rupert is very talented and will have the nest career post-HP out of all three.

Thanks. Yeah I guess it's true Dan and Emma do get the bulk of the publicity. I remember on some magazine cover, "Vanity Fair" if I'm not mistaken, it said "The Trio" on the cover but only Dan and Emma were on there. Rup was cut out.

Yeah Dan did December boys, Equis, David copperfield? Emma did Ballet Shoes and some upcomming movie. Rup did Driving lessons, Thunderpants, and now Cherrybomb with Wild Target.

The magazine was Teen Vogue and apparently alot of ppl wrote in to complain and Teen Vogue actually published a few of the complaints letters in the next issue. So I doubt that would ever happen again. Probably explains why the trio never did another photoshoot with them.

I'm sure we'll be seeing more of Rupert in the future. He is rumoured with two movies as well. But they're only rumours though.

Yeah I read one of the complaints. It said something like "Next time you write trio make sure to include all three!"

I hope Rupert does more stuff, he is a really good comedic actor especially. And I really like comidies. It would be a shame for his career to stop with Harry Potter.

@jazzyoself: As a forum member at ICM I am know a lot about WT and CB. I was talking about other two movies Rupert was rumoured to be in, the Prince Harry movie, which he recently denied and he is now confirmed to play Eddie the Eagle.

I agree, CB looks amazing and I'm really looking forward to WT. Driving Lessons was really good.

Dan appeared before Harry Potter in David Copperfield, the Tailer of Panama and during he did December Boys and My Boy Jack. He also appeared in one episode of Extras. And of course the play Equus in London and on Broadway, so Dan has done as much as Rupert, if not more.

And I'm sure Dan is going to do a lot of different films and plays after HP.

But I also think that Rupert can continue his acting career after Harry Potter.

Dan to me seems to be more of a stage actor. So I expect Dan to have a career on stage. He's already signed up to do a musical on broadway.

I can guarantee that we will be seeing Rupert in the future. Not sure abt Emma though. She needs to work out what she wants first.

Not so much an "awkward interview", but a tad nervous. I think it's one of the more calm and confident interviews Rupert has given, for any HP film.....I think his "um", "y'know" and "yah's" have gotten fewer and fewer. He's finally getting confident, in himself....it was a LONG run, you must admit. Pretty well done, Rupert.
