@JoshChadwick Ayyyy! Have you ever driven a Mk3 VR6 or a Mk2 golf gti (16v) the 16v is slow as shit! Im guessing what 130 maybe bhp? Vs the Mk3 V6... 176 bhp ... You can kind of guess why the VR6 IS a better all round car over the old, rusty mk2 golfs.... But no affence to anyone reading this, Id love a Mk2 with a VR6 lump in it ;-)
@graham878787 I own a 97 Jetta VR6. Yes its faster than a mk2. But I dont think it handles as well. Also MK3s are huge rust buckets man. Rotting rockers,Floorsboards,strut towers and gas caps.
@JoshChadwick Oh very nice indeed, havnt seen a Jetta for a long time! Really, I thought Mk2s wud of been alot worse, I bought my 95 Golf VR6, 152000 miles on the clock for £400, the cheapest car I had ever bought and it felt like brand new! I was impressed. Mk3s are great for handling, my first car was a 96 1.6 Golf GL, I lowered it straight away 60mm on P.I springs, was a go-kart and a half :-) Very much looking forward to getting a VR6 again, I may have to search around for a VR6Jetta ;-)

@graham878787 Well to you its probably a Vento VR6. Jetta VR6s in the states are easy to find. Im hunting for a MK4 20th ae
