I think all the republicans should just get out off office, and let the liberals take over. Then; when our country is in total decay, well come back, clean up the mess; and maybe, just maybe: we wont have to hear from the loony liberal left, anymore.
Maybe you're right. After all, they're still getting blamed for everything even though the Dems have control of the executive branch and large majorities in Congress.
Ann is a genius and wonderful. I love how she goes on the tv shows with retards as hosts, like Bill Maher. America would be much better if even more people would realize she is 100% right.
It funny that how the left sees things vs those on the other side (I will call them intelligent for basis of comparison) - intelligent people will look at the stimulus and see it loaded with anything but "stimulus" - the left will look at a massive spending bill and smile....and say "if we are tossing money at an issue - thats a good thing - very much like it worked with our union laden education system".
WRONG! The United States economy is in a free-fall and turning on the printing press is not the answer. I was in the sub-prime lending business and called this shit years ago. Not that hard to see really with the lending policies that were in place. The US is bankrupt and will default on their debt. The maekets will balance eventually, but the hay-days are over for a while. It's another coutnries turn now, but hopefully we learn from this, but it's unlikely, and Ann Coulter sucks btw.
the rushie herbert hoover neocons is the obstruction party of NO ... the neocons are mega ditto heads ... mind controlled to think the exact thoughts and repeat the exact words of el rushbo .. they will tell you that tax cuts are the only economic stimulant needed in spite that it did not work because only the working is being taxed .. but what they really wanted was to give their banker ceo's billions in blank checks .. to continue to party at 5 star hotels and millions in pay on the tax payers
What are you yammerin' on about? It was the Democrat controlled Congress that sent the Wall Street bailout bill to Bush's desk. The opposition to that was from the Republican minority--conservatives. Bush does not = conservative, and Wall Street is mostly liberals anyway.
Corruption comes in many forms. This is not a partisan issue, it's an issue for every American, but unfortunately the train has already left the station on this one. The Titanic is going down and nobody can do a goddamn thing about it.
Coulter ad hominems do NOT prove a single thing she says is wrong on point of eveidence. What Anne says here is entirely empirical. Disliking Anne will not save the economy from Obamanomics..
You don't have to be an economist to understand that we aren't going to come out ahead spending a quarter of a million dollars for every job that's "saved or created."
true, but give me a break, Economists themselves are having a hard time forecasting the future of our economy. these clowns don't even know what they're talking about.
For the country's sake I hope they're wrong but what they're saying makes sense to me and the prospect of the government growing larger and larger deeply disturbs me.
Dear loverofteats. Er, right. I'm not a dentist, a mechanic, a teacher or a Dr, so naturally I'm barred from ever discussing dental care, cars, education or health. An actual Logical Fallacy, bub. Look it up.
The only answer the Republicans can come up with is TAX BREAKS. The BUSH Tax breaks didn't help, (how much money did we spend and send to Iraq?) That was just a way to DISTRACT the people from the WAR. The American people want jobs, not more hand outs. Hell, if I lost my job tomorrow, I'd go dig ditches, pick fruits & veggies, work from sun up till sun down, to put food on the table, keep a roof over my head. My dad did it, and so can I. Make America great again, put America back to work.
Republicans have been busy offering plenty of ideas to make this bill better, but are being shut out by the Democrats. About 10% of the bill is for infrastructure, and most of the spending won't kick in before 2010. Again, if you divide the 800 billion by the number of jobs Obama claims it will save or create (3 million), you get well over $200,000 PER JOB. I don't know about you, but I'd take the $200,000. Instead of this bill, every unemployed person in the country could get $20,000+ cash!
Yep, two pillars of intelligence. They know best. Hannitty and Coulter are clueless. This economic melt down has been orchestrated by world banks, with a little help from the powers that be. See the letter by Elliot Spitzer printed in the Washington Post 2/14/08. This summer I predict that fuel prices will sky rocket. This will be the final nail in the coffin for American liberties. People will be in the streets, and the Constitution will be suspended.
So, according to Ann Coulter the solution to this crisis is to do nothing? Tell that to all these people that have been laid off and are behind on their mortgage payments, desperate and not knowing what they are going to do ! In my line of work I talk to people everyday (I work in GOP country) hoping that the Gov does something. This whole thing about doing nothing will hopefully guarantee that in 2010 more Republicans get kicked out of both Senate and House of Reps.
Republicans aren't saying "do nothing." They are saying Democrats are doing the wrong thing. Doing nothing would be better than doing the wrong thing, particularly when you're talking a trillion dollars in debt. Moreover, public support for this bill has collapsed, yet Obama and the Democrats insist on rushing it through. It is Republicans representing the will of the American people right now, as indicated by national polls.
The reason I'm controlling the comments is to weed out profane outbursts like the first one you posted that I just deleted. If you have a comment to make, make it without resorting to vulgar name calling, please ;-)
well, everything that comes out off anns mouth is more vulgar that anything i could write in here. so if you want some serious political dialog than stop posting videos of crazy hate spreading demagogs, ok.
If you want some serious political dialogue, or even debate, I suggest you stop resorting to slanderous, ad hominem attacks on people with whom you disagree. Okay?
Ann-"I am once again awede by the wisdom of the American people"
hey, smaniz, it appears that you have a warped definition of 'vulgar'. Or, perhaps you are a typical democrat who is so full of hate that they cannot stand to hear any opinion that differs from their own.
The sub-prime mortgage crisis was caused by Democrats making laws to make banks loan money to people based on their status as a minority and not credit-worthiness.
Since when is making a profit wrong?
All of our allies are still our allies, and the countries that are our enemies were already our enemies before the Iraq war began.
It shouldn't be the government's function to pay for healthcare.
Obama has not one single clue, apparently. He thinks his election was a mandate for growing the government and huge, indiscriminate spending, when polls show that a shrinking minority of Americans support the bill in question.
I find it hypocritacal at best for republicans justifying spending over a trillion dollars to improve the country of Iraq but find it objectionable to spend any money here in the US.
Does anyone actually believe Obama has read even half this bill? 1500+ pages! As fast as he's trying to ram it down our throats, nobody in Congress would have time to read the whole thing either. All you need is some basic math to judge the insanity. Divide the 800 billion by Obama's ever-shrinking estimate for the number of jobs it will save or create: $800,000,000,000 / $3,000,000,000 = $266,666 PER JOB! They should just give every man, woman and child in the country $2,500 cash! Good grief.
I agree with you that the government needs to be a LOT smaller and people should be allowed to keep a LOT more of their hard earned cash. In reality though, the government is never going to get smaller because people and companies like their entitlements. My whole point is stop spending money overseas when we need it right here at home. If ron paul had been the republican candidate I assure you he would have won. The republican party needs to update its message, fear and terror aren't cutting it
Ron Paul was brilliant on domestic issues; I'll give you that. I would've supported him enthusiastically had he not echoed the far left on immediate withdrawal from Iraq. (speaking of hypocrisy, so much for Dems and Obama getting us out of there.) Apart from Iraq I agree with you and Paul seemed to be the only one who truly cared about following the Constitution. Republicans may have lost their way; I prefer to see their unanimous opposition to the stimulus bill in the House as a spark of hope.
You speak as if all Republicans supported the war. No, not true at all. I'm all for money being spent for the US but the money should be invested back to the PEOPLE not more government programs. That's not a stimulus, that's a gov't appropriation. The stimulus doesn't adequately address the housing marking, at-home drilling, etc. Allocating $600 mill to assist tv viewers to switch from analong to digital is one of the ridiculous line items of this so-called "stimulus"
While we still have freedom of information I believe there's still hope to turn things around. I wonder though how long ago our forefathers would've revolted against what their government has become, were they here to see it.
Yipee! "The European Socialist Act!!" They must have known I was coming.

~ Send Jobs Overseas & give HUGE tax breaks to those who comply
~ Limit Taxing the Rich
~ Spend 11 Billion a month on unjustified war in Iraq while lying about WMDs & plutonium being purchased there.
~ RECORD Deficit
~ RECORD Housing Foreclosures
~ Watch Big Oil, Insurance & Drug Co's make RECORD profits
~ Damage Diplomatic ties around the world
~ Don't pass health-care bill for kids

It's the government raising taxes on employers that makes employing Americans less profitable.
The rich" pay 90% of federal revenue and use their capital to create jobs; they don't need higher taxes.
Democrats are still voting to continue funding Iraq; last I check they controlled both houses of Congress!
Obama is going to dwarf Bush's deficit spending. It's hasn't been 3 weeks and we're already looking at another trillion in debt.
