Im not sure about the challenger but i learned a little trick on my 09 charger daytona to turn off the traction control. Drive about 20-30mph and then turn and hold the ignition on (as if to start it). Should hear a beep and the traction and Brake assist turn completely off.
I have the six speed which does not have MDS. It runs all cylinders all the time. You can't deactivate that from what I understand though, without an after market tuner. If there was information about it though the EVIC system would be where it was found.
The steering wheel buttons on the right side, one looks like a page icon with a N that brings up your direction and your default screen and the one under it goes from setting menu to setting menu.
Push and hold the navigation button and the music mutton (one on each side) for 10 seconds and there you go, a secret bunch of displays pop up including 0 - 60 timer, digital speedo and a ton of other cool stuff.
Thanks. I Dont have my Rt yet. So I was wondering Is this possible if you dont have a navigation system ? Also do you know the trick to completly disable traction control ? If not I do.
I think all you need is the electronics package but you want the nav, called the MyGig system. It is touch screen and VERY cool. Never need your i pod either, as it stores all your songs on an on board 30 GB hard drive.
You can't completely turn off the traction control but you can turn it mostly off and all you do is hold the traction control button for 10 seconds.
Well Like I said have not got my challenger yet but somone told me you can completly turn off traction control. The secret is you get driving at least 10 miles per hour and turn the key and it will completly shut it off.

Maybe on the SRT but I have not heard anything like that on the R/T. Mine is the R/T with the Track Pak (same gearing as the SRT)

Then use your arrow buttons to scroll through.

The SRT8 does in fact come with 1/4 mile time and a G-Force meter. I have the R/T so these functions are absent.

Turns out this is not true :) There is a secret way to bring up the 0-60 timer among other things on the R/T :) Dodge is so cool.

Does it record 0-60 or 1/4 mile times? You think with all that other stuff, they would think to include some sort of timer!
