I don't get this.... what is even the point in posting this. We all want to hear the questions! Who cares about the fucking intro? this is fucking gay.
Just because you don't care about seeing the intro only does not mean that the rest of us are not interested. If you don't like it, why don't you go somewhere else and try to find an episode and hush up?
Could someone make a video called "Paul Klein on Jeopardy!" & split it into parts?; I have never seen this episode before. If anybody has the full episode please let me know. Thanks.
Probably '92, otherwise by 1993, you would of saw the J! logo w/ the 10th Anniversary (referring to 10 seasons of Trebek J!) on the moniotrs and that it was 1992 that the bongo mix was added to the theme, although the grid set started in '91.
Whoops, I meant that this was 1992, b/c this was when the bongos was 1st added to the theme song. The 10th Anniversary logo on the monitor came along in 1994, actually.
Yes, I know that, but I meant by season...either this could've been the fall of 1992 or the spring of 1993...the 10th anniversary logo on "Jeopardy!" wasn't up until the 1993-1994 season...
What if "Jeopardy!" still had this intro when they got the sushi bar set in 1996 for that whole first season with it? Audience murmuring, swooshing sound, "Jeopardy!" logo in a ball, then exploding?
For the whole 1996-97 season, they had the old theme. But in the 1997-98 season, they got the new theme. I was talking about the globe with the "Jeopardy!" logo exploding. They never used that with the new set.
The globe logo was only used for part of the 1996-97 season. The episode that aired November 11, 1996 was when the globe logo was dropped completely. The swooshing sound effect was also used for part of the 1996-97 season, and it didn't return again until the 2001-02 season. The swooshing sound effect still stands today.

At 12 and 13 seconds into the clip, there is a grate in front of the camera, what is that?
lldeland 4 years ago
It's part of a metal grid like the one behind the podiums.

Hell, what if they still had it now?

That'd be something.
samsticka 4 years ago
I think they should go back to it.
Unit545 4 years ago
I think they did, for the first couple of weeks of it -- I remember the old music with the new set, and the new music coming about a month later.

Exactly. I was saying that they should've kept it with the new set.
samsticka 4 years ago
You're right. Also, in addition, the audience no longer murmured before Johnny Gilbert's opening spiel at the beginning of the program.
