....he's in drop d tuning if thats what ur trying to say with the chords being different, there the same chords, just instead of havin 2 cover a fret and play a normal bar chords, the e is tuned to notes down so u just have to cover the top 3 notes for the chord, alot of hard rock bands use it, 3dg,papa roach and so on....:)
