  • How are four guys sounding like a choir in 1970? That's pretty amazing! Even top musicians were often a little off key due to the primitive technology and insane volume levels of the times, but these guys nailed it. I wonder if they're using some kind of chorus or echo loop effect.

  • whats the song of the very beginning?

  • @rafitalco Atom Heart Mother

  • not going to sort through the posts to see, but did anyone else notice the drummer's billing as "Mick Mason" ?

  • @nthemuseurodenon i think the 99.9% did

  • Hi

  • DAVID * _ *

  • my dad was there that day. he was very very pleased to see this :)

    thank you for sharing!!!

  • @djeisonimp How do you know they did LSD, they were quite conservative. Their music seems like they did but I don't think so. I'm sure they did but I don't think it was a regular thing.

  • @LiveOakOkie , well of course you know about what happened to Syd Barret, that got out of the group due to LSD and another drugs, so that he couldn't still play or even sing. Lot's of people say, and it's still spoken on the internet that other musicians of Pink Floyd also used drugs, anyway it is not confirmed and there is no proof of it (as I know, maybe i am wrong).

But I don't believe one could create music as them without drugs.

  • David awww :)

  • i like that Hendrix poster

  • beautiful version of atom heart mother!!

  • Saca só essa, Saulão!!

  • @oleomilani

    hehehe

    mto bom esse show!

  • 3:42 gilmours glorious ass

  • 1:12 MICK MASON wtf?

  • LOL. Yeah, I"m here again. It's late so I'll be in bed soon. With some luck I'll dream about this hunk of a man. Why can't we clone him? Is there today even one man that comes close to Gilmour? Tom Hardy maybe but he doesn't sing or play a mean guitar.

  • in minute 6:05 "mick mason" drop the drum stick lol

  • @rafitalco haha, yeah! Lucky him, it fell right next to him.

  • @sonrisolprarebater actually he took another one from his pants, look at it

  • Mick Mason? hahaha

  • @alonsototote Precisely! Crackin' up w/ pure pleasure here!

  • Young Gilmour was such a hunk: tall, broad shoulders, perky ass, lengthy legs, long silky hair, wide blue eyes, a fabulous nose and juicy pouty lips. Then, watch him sing and play a mean guitar. What a man!

  • @zigarela

I so agree with your post. Those lips and just that entire being! I have watched this video I know about 100 times. Never get tired of listening to the voice of an angel! I certainly wouldn't mind grabbing a hold of theat hair either. LOL! Why are men not made this way today?

  • its written MICK MANSON all right in 1:14

  • I have watched this video about 100+ times. Gilmour is so unbelivably hot. He gives me goose bumps everytime I hear is voice. Why can't we clone someone like gilmour for our own personal use?

  • I'd love jamming with Pink Floyd at those days

  • hahahahaahah "mick mason" hahaha

  • @rippersk8er whats the joke btch

  • @chiripas12345 1:12 , read.

  • David Gilmour - blessed with a phenomenal gift for music, yet cursed with terrible nipples. Sorry bro, I'm just sayin'.

  • Wow @ 2:16 some fan sat in the same chair Gilmour sat in and didn't even know it.

  • can i just UNGFNFNF omg david be mine please you beautiful man

  • They are so hot here! What more can you say? Brings a smile to my face.

  • David's voice sounds wierd in this recording to me for some reason, like he's just a bit off key with the relative notes that are being used. Towards the end he seems to get on it, but it kinda sounds a bit like drunk whales mating to me. Other than that, everything else is genius.

  • @cebevel hes probably fucked up man, everything live from the 60s and early 70s he looks really stoned

  • @thevoidconsumes You may be right. I know he liked to use LSD, from what I've read.

  • @cebevel ME TOO......

  • Nick (or as they called him, Mick sksksjs) is really really REALLY underrated. Look how into it he was getting! He should get more credit he was the pulse for the band and everything.

  • Just can beat the 60, 70 n' 80's generations. They've got great music, great hair, n' more.

  • Who said Mick Mason?

  • thanks for posting , this is incredible, gilmour & guitar= mancrush

  • how does this only have 77k views?

  • Finally some footage of Atom Heart Mother. Great

  • 7:27 *ORGASM*

  • NICK Mason, not MICK Mason !!

  • @MrAtalanter Mick Nason xD

  • orgasm.

  • At 4:50 Waters is like "The fuck, why can't I look that good? D:"

  • Шикарно !!!

  • @user65961 i'll see Roger 09-03-12 here in Argentina can't wait man!

  • long live mick mason! haha

  • I saw Waters in Detroit last October. Pink Floyd every time they've toured since 87. Man there is just no musical act that will ever be like them. I was born in the late 60's so it took me to the early 80's to find Pink Floyd myself.

  • I didn't even know that song was possible to perform live lol

  • @Dwaynethesock With Pink Floyd, anything is possible.

  • @sanitarium017 suacerful straight to atom heart

  • ATOM HEART MOMMY ♥

  • Father:What do you want to be when you grow up aaron(me)?

Me:I wanna be a Nick Mason!

  • Does anybody knows the name of this song?

  • @CaetanoCabral Atom Heart Mother

  • thank you for uploading this!

  • lol, Mick Mason

  • @deltaninjas and Denis Gilmour ;D

  • The groove is an early incarnation of the midpoint of Echoes. Gilmour hasn't developed the solo yet. Sounds great though. Really cool to see the turning points.

  • @john813what

Um, I don't know what your listening to but this is the middle section of Atom Heart Mother Suite. Part Breast Milky - Mother Fore to Funky Dung.

  • This footage could have been a bonus on Live in Pompeii DVD. More live 70's footage needs to come out on official DVD. Floyd live in the 70's was something very special to me. I grew up with this music when I was a kid.

  • Is this available on DVD? All this old footage deserves an official release.

  • It's Nick Mason and not Mick Mason!

  • At 6:55 is Roger talking to a rodie/sound person, or Rick? It looks like he's saying "____ too loud"

  • OOH, how amazing is this!!!!

  • ah!ah!ah! très drôle comment il prononce "led zeppelin" :-)

  • @msterre bien franchouillard!

  • yeah.. I'm with you @Zeprock70 Nobody care about bloddy french scarf..

And I Wish this could be more longer..

  • I'd give my left nut to be a roadie for Pink Floyd. Or the waterboy. Hell...I'll be the guy that polishes the cymbals, rolls the joints and tells Roger Waters how wonderful he looks, I don't give a shit.

  • @Alexaf I think Roger only takes the right nut, Gilmour takes the left one, i may be wrong though :P

    Peace

  • they called him mick mason! lol

  • Comment removed

  • i love everything Floyd, never seen this video thanks

  • @BieberPwnzMetal ur life = dirt penis

  • @BieberPwnzMetal DIRTY*

  • @BieberPwnzMetal the funny thing is....... you call pink floyd gay, and yet you think Bieber is better?

  • @BieberPwnzMetal

fuck you and fuck everything you lister. you can go and fuck yourself. if you don't like this music your life sucks! you are gay faggot!!!!!!!!!

  • @BieberPwnzMetal

PF are gay, and Bieber is virgin ;-)

Pink Floyd is one of the greatest band the world never seen... Let us listen them...

  • @BieberPwnzMetal fail troll

  • @BieberPwnzMetal So was your father's condom, obviously.

  • My Dad: Hey son, listen this

Me: Hmm more old music *boring*

    *After twenty minutes*

Me: HOLY SHIT DAD! THAT'S SO FUCKING AMAZING!

My Dad: I hate to say "i told you so"

  • Les français ont toujours eu du gout ;)

  • If you mute this video, you'd probably think at 04:48 David Gilmour never got more high in his life.

  • @BieberPwnzMetal Oops thumbed down. Sorry. Listen if you don't like a certain music type, don't look it up, comment on it, and continue to troll other videos. I don't do it to Justin Bieber.

  • gee i didnt know that David Gilmour could sing that high.

  • @hamsteradorable chances are it's an effect. It's drenched in reverb, plus something to make it higher

  • "Mick" mason??? LOL

  • 41 years ago...fuck!i wish be born in 1950 just to see LIVE PINK FLOYD!!!!!!!!!PACE

  • David Gilmour sometimes questions my heterosexuality. Him hitting those notes send fucking shivers down my spine, i proclaim these shivers to be FLOYDGASMS!

  • @NuklearGilmour Man.. do I know how that feels..

  • @NuklearGilmour Or maybe Gilmourgasms?

  • @TavernacleRecords Eh, Floydgasm flows better :D

  • @GangstaGTV oh no its actually nick not mick :)

  • Atom Heart Mother without the orchestra !!! Always wondered how they toured the album. Now I see !

  • thats soo spacey i love it

  • Which one's Pink?

    hahaha

  • That's the best feedback a Pink Floyd concert can sqeeze out of your little brain? Seriously?!

  • @oliscrob Listen, boy. I was deeply into Pink Floyd when your daddy was still trying to talk your mommy into touching his pee-pee for the first time.

  • @ukkfayooyay I don't care much about your age nor do I bother calculating how much time you've been a PF fan for (i really don't care). Since your first comment had such a good joke in it why didn't I expect you picking on my parents... since they have a well established place in this very smart and productive chat.

Please oh please don't bother replying to this and if you actually do try not to take on the grandmother too- she was a very nice lady

  • @oliscrob Relax, kid. Don't be so sensitive. I have a history with Pink Floyd going back 40 years.

  • @ukkfayooyay Well congratulations. I bet that making childish remarks like these to a kid always makes the illusion of being witty stay alive huh?

  • @oliscrob Kid, when you reach my age, illusions are just about all that's left. See what you have to look forward to?

  • @ukkfayooyay Never ment to hit a soft spot mate. Cheers!

  • @oliscrob It's all good kid. Enjoy!

  • A TV francesa colocou "Mick" Mason nos créditos!!! hahahaha

  • which song is this one?

  • hmmm mick mason?

  • Fuck me I love pink floyd.

  • 1:10 How the fuck did they write Nick Mason wrong?!?!

  • @bergice1

LOL I know and just recently I found someone spelled the album "Meddle" "Meedle" lol

  • In case you didn't understand it, the announcer tried to say "Led Zeppelin" at 0:10 haha

Nice video, anyway! Never saw it either

  • Man I wish I was born in the early 50's and not in 1991 and lived in Great Britain so I could have seen Pink Floyd live. There my fav live band, to bad music sucks these days, why did I have to be born in such a shitty decade long live 60's and 70's music.

  • @Hazlenuts1991

Being born in 1991 and not 1951 is a total drag. I will attest to that! My ultimate goal in life is to get to the 60's.

  • @ruscharound

    We can recreate the 60's.

  • @ruscharound 93' here, know how it feels:/

  • @ruscharound DEAD SERIOUS, I could totally do that. time travel is possible

  • @ruscharound

I was born in 77 and wish that very same thing!

  • @kitten2050 well kitt you could do it now, he's not dead...married...not dead.

  • @marnold6879

Would that I could :D, he is still pretty hot!!!!!

  • It's bizarre. He's so beautiful, his voice is almost angelic here. Yet there's a sexual vibe that warrants awe, not me jump his bones. Maybe I'm just not a dog.

  • @Fendergreats19933 LOL...I see I'm not the only one who's noticed how sexy Gilmour is in these vids :o And thanks, oliscrob, for these awesome uploads!

  • What song is this, I remember seeing them rehearse it, but what's the title?

  • Comment removed

  • @FatmanCaufield Atom Heart Mother

  • wow atom heart mother great - this is rare -tel you somethin its worth serching french achives they have loads of British groups - Where as BBC and itv etheir wouldnt let them play live or deleted thousands of media archives from 1960s and early 1970s Obviously histrory will jusdge the uk establishemnt was under threat.if pink Floyd had been USA they would have replaced the Statue of Liberty with giant Glass Prism

  • Yes, yes, we all know your red scarf is simply amazing and obviously very French. Now let me listen to some Floyd.

  • @zeprock70 he said they were n. 1 in France but not in the UK or the states, and they represented the "contemporary music" side of pop ( i.e. the other groups being just blues or folk) and so he was glad that France had elected them !

  • im 15 years old, I grown listening to pink floyd, since I was 3 my dad put me some pink floyd music and I loeved them, actually the first song i learned in guitar was wish you were here, they're the best band the world could have!!

  • @pablolasase Check out Echos from 'Meddle'.
