After making this short film made for the beholder to reflect upon the beauty in their eyes, isn't it comforting to read all the comments where some people are not able to see beyond your ... freakin' physical computer screen, and no further.
I had a similar digital breakdown in August ... took a few hours of staring into the wall realizing "this is nuts ... I'm a junkie!"

You are comparing with LCDs, but yes! It has 0ms response rate, (usually) better coloration and darker blacks as well. The only technology that is comparable in flat screens are plasma, which don't fit on desks like that too well considering the minimum size for said technology.

My internet was down for a while the other day. I briefly felt an emptiness. It's nice to have so much right at my fingertips. Almost any bit of information, that may seem trivial to someone else, can be had in a matter of keystrokes.
this was a great short film and i loved the snowy tv etc, and the lighting of those shots.Some cool angles were used as well. I was kind of freaking out b/c thats identicle to my reaction after losing my own computer last year. I ended up meditating outside and hiking and being part of the real world again until I got my mac haha.
I thought this was a GREAT video. It said so much about the experience we're all having without talking about that experience directly (as in a vlog). I think the video would be improved if it was shorter. I found the individual scenes too long overall. What kind of camera did you use? The landscapes were awesome, but the shots with you in them were odd-looking. You seemed out of focus? Was that intentional? It didn't work for me (if it was). But who cares about that?! Marius
thanks. I tried to make this short without flying over everything. I dragged out a couple of things intentionally to build a sort of tension, but i can see how a couple things might have been shorter and/or built up to better. I actually just a lot out from my fists draft. I used a Panasonic gs320. I don't know why the shots of me looked out of focus really. in some cases, i used affects to bloom the highlight and that might be part of it, but not in every shot.
That sound/ambient music...at 4:08, what is that? I've heard it used in several different documentaries.

this was a great short film and i loved the snowy tv etc, and the lighting of those shots.Some cool angles were used as well. I was kind of freaking out b/c thats identicle to my reaction after losing my own computer last year. I ended up meditating outside and hiking and being part of the real world again until I got my mac haha.

I thought this was a GREAT video. It said so much about the experience we're all having without talking about that experience directly (as in a vlog). I think the video would be improved if it was shorter. I found the individual scenes too long overall. What kind of camera did you use? The landscapes were awesome, but the shots with you in them were odd-looking. You seemed out of focus? Was that intentional? It didn't work for me (if it was). But who cares about that?! Marius

thanks. I tried to make this short without flying over everything. I dragged out a couple of things intentionally to build a sort of tension, but i can see how a couple things might have been shorter and/or built up to better. I actually just a lot out from my fists draft. I used a Panasonic gs320. I don't know why the shots of me looked out of focus really. in some cases, i used affects to bloom the highlight and that might be part of it, but not in every shot.
