  • Brenda all the way

  • Thank you Captain Caveman. If it weren't for cartoons like yours there wouldn't be a Venture Brothers...

  • Who thought she had a sexy accent as a kid?

  • Here is an idea: Captain Caveman could become a movie. Imagine a movie, but not with a CGI Captain Caveman, but someone who can dress up as him. It would be easy to make this into a movie.

  • @MichaelBrookham I don't think it is a good idea dressing up someone as Captain Caveman. Captain Caveman should be a CGI.

  • Captain...CAAAAVEMAAAAN!

  • Captain Caveman? Captain of what?

  • @LegionIscariot ... Caves... ?

  • three teen girls without parents hanging around a guy who looks like he is wearing a raggedy fur coat and forgot to shave and who barely speaks english. plus the girls all have a drivers license, look like Barbie and solve mysteries in a van. Yea. I love the 1970s.

  • John Prescott is Captin Caveman

  • 0:18 to 0:26 sound like the espn highlights for football on monday song

  • Back when cartoons were for real. Hanna-Barbera had a very subtle but very much keyed-in sense of humour that most children understood from the word go. No moralising or cruel ridiculing of other characters. Just good, clean fun. When Captain Cavemen was looking for stuff in his pouch, he'd pull out all kinds of ridiculous things in his search, such as woolly Mammoths, dinosaurs, etc. The 3, 'chicks', were a real bonus. The blonde one was my favourite. Or, was it the red-head? Zowee!!

  • this guy was included with the flinstones.. i saw there

  • This show had everything... a crazed cro-magnon, three sexy chicks and Don Pardo... what more could you want!

  • He pulled a giant safe out of his own fur, then ate it.

Would I be wasting my time trying to make sense of that?

  • @TheJediCharles Well he was hungry. ;-)

  • scooby-doo meets charlie's angels

  • scooby doo rip off, Zowie!

  • Stole his cape from Fred Flintsone too.

  • Yet more awesome narration by the legendary Gary Owens.

  • better than scooby doo

  • what is a grown caveman doing with three teenage girls unsupervised?

  • @surfinthetao dude, he's Captain Caveman. He too dumb to figure that out.

  • Heh! Did he just say Taffy? Heh...heh.

  • Man, as a kid in the 1970s (I was born in 1969) I used to watch this, among other hanna-barbera cartoons on Saturday mornings. Brings back fond nostalgic memories of me sitting in front of the living room 25 inch color tv (the only tv we had in the house. Unlike today where people practically have a tv in each and every room) watching my favorite cartoons every saturday while eating bowl after bowl of my favorite breakfast cereals. The 1970s really was the golden age of saturday morning cartoons

  • @classicphile I know what you mean brother. I was the same way, born in 70. I cant even calulate how many hrs I sat watching Saturday morning cartoons. Now it's funny to think all these shows /cartoons-shows are coming back on DVDs.

  • @Cavillier1970 They even do a classic cartoon block on Teletoon. My kids watch a lot of the new ones, but their favorite is Scooby, which was my favorite when I was their age.

  • @classicphile Lasted right into 1983, and then everything took a nosedive when they started doing video game cartoons (i.e. mario bros).

  • @classicphile You are so right

  • @classicphile Interesting how people have TVs in every room and there's nothing worth watching on them anymore...

  • @classicphile Disagreed the 80-90's Cartoons was the golden age of saturday morning cartoons

Dont get me wrong i love 70's cartoons but 80's and 90's are better and this is coming from a totally unbiased person since i was born in 1995 so i was neither a 80's or 90's kid rather i was a early 2000's kid(which was a decent era while it lasted *sniff*).

  • @bardhi09 I partially disagree about that. I grew up as a young kid during the '70s and think the cartoons were just as good, good up to the '90s till 'Cow & Chicken came out, beginning the down fall of cartoons and start the era of dumb cartoons that we're seeing today. The only very few decent/half decent toons out today are Star Wars Clones Wars, Ben 10, Generator Rex and Batman: The Brave and the Bold. The rest absolutely suck ass.

  • @classicphile You are so right. A 25" TV was considered huge back then. We had all the good stuff. Did you watch any of the live action stuff like "Jason of Star Command"?

  • @aerospike00 I remember Jason of Star Command, as it was first shown in the UK, about this time in 1982, alongside Sport Billy.

  • Brenda is yummie!

  • This was one of Hanna-Barbera's greatest Late-'70's era series ever.

    Thanx fer this clip, m8...

  • lush

  • Stunning xx
