Doesn't it loose a lot of peanuts, because they get shaken off before they can enter the machine ?

We loose a few on the header as they enter it but not a whole lot.

I have always wondered why Amadas never took that Deere cotton picker cab and painted it blue to match the rest of the combine.

I wonder why you use that special harvester.
Doesn't it work with a usual corn/rice/soy(a) harvester, too?

No it won't work with a small grain combine because peanuts are so big and have a lot of dirt on them. The rasp bars on a conventional combine would grind the peanuts up into dirty peanut butter.
