My "problem" is I tell the truth. Evel Knievel said his jump over 14 buses was 133 feet. That's what he said it was on his truck. Trouble is it wasn't .
The truth is the truth. Both Knievel have lied. They accused Sheldon Saltman of telling lies. He didn't. But they think it's ok to lie. Evel was known to tell 2 versions of one story.
How do you know Saltman was telling lies? Do you know the Knievels and Saltman personally? Where is your proof? Don't you think it is possible that Saltman was trying to make some quick bucks by publishing false statments. Don't make such bold statements against the Knievels if you don't have anything to back it up.
The proof is the court . Saltman showed that Knievel and his lawyer had editorial control over the book Evel Knievel on Tour. Nothing in the book was false. Evel even said so during an interview in 1978. Saltman was never sued by Knievel because the book was an honest look at the man.
