Wrong actually, you can download the full version for free on blizzard's site, it's always been that way for people who don't have a dvd drive.

I downloaded it from there, using a full account I borrowed from my cousin. After a week, it wouldn't work anymore. The account still works, because I tried it on my cousin's computer using the DVD, and it worked just fine; logged in and everything.

Also, there's a CD version of it too; at least, I've seen it several times in GameStop and Walmart, so unless it's false advertisement, I'm pretty sure it's just a CD, since it doesn't say "PC-DVD" anywhere on it at all, but does say CD. *Shrug.*
