this is the first vid i have seen on youtube that is 1080p. also...the one thing that they do not tell you is that this decreases the life of your jump drive!!!

because these are pulling from the jump drive so much i fried 2 sandisk 16gig drives already... im using 1 and sharing it networked over 4 of these... dont make my mistakes just buy 4 Jump drives.

HID mode isn't perfect yet. It works with Traktor and somewhat with Ableton. I've been trying to get a straight answer from Serato/Pioneer to figure out when the two will play nice together, but haven't gotten a firm answer yet, so don't expect HID to work on the CDJ-2000s with Serato any time soon.

Useing Hid or midi on a multiplayer in regard to using timecode = No wear on the laser, thats sure is one huge advantage.

I love my CDJ 2000s and the new firmware is just topnotch!

There are some minor isues but that has nothing to do with the hardware.

Overall its a great piece of kit, but the mk3 and 800 mixer will survive as well, in the clubs and mobile djs that is.

2000s just what the mk3 should have been in the first place, but what the h3ll, its still good

I've got two Pioneer CDJ 1000s and a Pioneer DJM 800 mixer, I just bought Serato Scratch Live SL3 and its in the post, so me question is...

Having the decks, mixer + serato i have, will this do everything the Pioneer CDJ 2000's will?

@ek42596 CDJ 1000, you gotta use timecode disc's.. CDJ 2000 has HID and midi... which is alot better than timecode disc.

Got mine, but am having a 9101 Mechanical timeout error...discs won't load. I just posted a vid about this. Is anyone else having this problem?

9101 error usually means something jamming the disk loading mechanism. One thing you could try is the forced eject pin, enter that in and pull it out. After that try putting a disk in. If not, then she's back to the shop for repair or replacement.
