  • Very good

  • awesome man you are skilled 0:39 like :D

  • how long you make this

  • cool stuff

  • @jerrygsheldon thanks

  • i like 0:39

  • at 1:45 that's already gone

  • @yUsReE96

Yes indeed, actualy thats what made me start modelling those buildings in a first place.

  • we're doing a god damn dinosaur model in class... hahaha

  • Not possible XD

  • you are good with the lights and effects man

  • Awsome :-D

  • You are awesome

  • nice play with particle effects. i suppose you've gotten better at lighting and texturing and taking out the horizon line by now..

  • music is out of 3dmark or final reality benchmark ^^

  • gowno ;]

  • @zyga92 lol :))

  • how did you do the bullet slow time effect? :O

  • The airliner should show the vapour trails join into two and each curl round along an helical path caused by wing-tip vortexes. Have a look upwards on the next clear-sky day.

  • rendered with scanline or mentalray?

  • With old R3 scanliner.

  • @Armuotas does the system your using cost

  • @Armuotas does the system your using cost #

  • freakin great soundtrack! :D

  • Dude this is my conflict ... i have blender and use it but is 3D max better in whole lot of ways??

  • I've tried Blender and my oppinion is it's to... complex. Thats right, complex. I'm not talking about functions but about user interface. For me Max is more intuitive so I stick to it.

  • only prob i have with blender is rigging... complex! yes agreed. other than that is that there're more 3d models in 3ds MAX then blender!! :S

thanls 4 reply many others don;t reply at all! 0o

  • i have to agree blender sucks compared to 3ds max

3ds max is the god of all 3d modeling programs

  • no i don,t think so becouse actually 4d cinema is better and easier so me gonna crack 4d cinema some day!

  • 4d cinema is good...but 3Ds max is much more designd for large scale works.

4D cinema is great and it can be compared with 3Ds max...but how many times did you see 4D cinema used in games ?

btw Maya is also there as well as Zbrush

  • the Earth is incorrect it is tilted at a 22 degree angle

  • Yes indeed. But then again it is to big and rotates to slow. So don't mind astronomical inconsistencies ;)

  • nice use of skills :) well done.

  • awesome.how much is this?

  • How long did it take you to model the plane and the room?

  • Plane model is from internet, and room took about 6 hours (no fancy modeling technics mainly just primityves)

  • Great thanks.

  • what is the name of the song?

  • Hi, modifiers, bye? Reactor ftl? Grats on figuring out bump map on 1:10 XD

The car was around decent, since it's two years old I'll take it you've improved <3

  • I see you didn't even bother to read description. Oh well.

  • I did in fact read the description.

Tell me, which part of my post indicated I haven't read it? I comment your use of modifiers and reactory, whileas your description only tells me where you got your 3D models. Your car was the only render that appeared above, well.. 1:57 says it all.

  • The description should work as disclaimer for all kind of "smart-ass" comments on quality/rendering/models etc. I should've just let your comment slide by. So in case i misinterpreted some of your words - my mistake. Btw there's no reactor, nor bumpmap used at 1:10.

  • Oh I wasn't looking to make a smartass comment, I was rather complimenting this was done two years ago before the 'auto smooth' function worked with turbo smooth, and you sure there's no bump? ;o

  • do u have plugins for those car lights? can u do those lights in 3dsmax??

  • No plugins, just simple spotlights. Upper lights color set to soft violet, falloff=2x hotspot. Lower are similar only yellow and shape set to rectangle. Material self ilumination 100 and glow is just rendering effect. All values are very aproximate because its best just to try and see what is good for you. Actual car lights look very different, this was just creative play.

  • very nice animations man 5/5

  • What 3ds MAX is this, 1st version...?

    Very poor man...!

  • Actualy R3, and it was 6 years ago. Also i'm curious why do you think it is 1st version? If it is for quality then i can make same animations with Max2010, so whats your point?

  • EXCELLENT!

  • Glad you like it.

  • the one at 0:33 should be a screensaver

  • Your rendering skills are shit.

  • i haven't even tried to look it good, its test renders not final product.

  • 5 stars where can you downloading ?

  • LOL FIVE STARS?????? This is kids play compared to what I can do with 3D max. and you cant jsut downlaod this... you have to buy this

  • CarGeek, are you jealous of other people oppinion, because you can't afford same kind of oppinion because you think that you are WAY better than me? That is just plain stupid ;)

By the way, YES, you CAN download 3DS Studio MAX 2010, you just have to know where to look. Seriously, Geek, get real ;)

  • He is super jealous! nice job

  • very good but the earth doesnt need specular level

    it also needs more bump

  • more bump? not sure. highest bump would be 8.8km vs 13.000 km (diam. of the earth), so i'm not sure any shadows would be visible at this video resolution. no specular? ocean albedo is low but at shalow angle it reflects considerable amount of light. also there is waves that make surface uneven and thus more light backscattering. that light have stronger yellow tint and is dimmer than in video, but still it is there.

  • nice work!

  • hey could u help me i have downloaded some .3ds file and i wana put them in 3dsmax but i dont know how could u help me with this part please!

  • File -> Import ; try this one ;)

  • yah but when i import it it open`s a error but now i know that the problom is that i have 3dsmax 7 and i need 3dsmax 9 for those models that i downloaded but now i have 3dsmax 7 models

  • the best were the planets and the lambo

  • the planets are mostlikely texturised spheres.. they were probably the easiest to make lol.

  • Man would you help me to learn 3d max please ? i am beyond basic ?

  • You really need to improve both lighting and other adjustments for final rendering.

Also, the music is just horrible.

  • Quote from video description:

"Most of this is unfinished work, a test renders to play with. But I like them nonetheless" .

As for the music it is personal taste so bite me.

I'm not a dollar bill to please everyone ;)

  • Well u pleased me.lol

  • Its awesome!

How long did it take to make these?

  • cool vid!!!! hey i got a question, i used to be able to drag textures from the internet right into 3ds materials. But its not doing it no more, im not exactly sure, it seems to download but i dont see it in 3ds. can anyone help me?

  • great video and great song! what's the title??

  • It's from demo run of benchmarking software 3DMark2000.

  • ok, grazie!

  • They are awesome XD

  • kool, I like the the stargate portal thing.

  • merge the files you want to the other project you want them in. (make sure you label your shapes it helps, and your textures)

  • nice one at 1;25 also i made a couple of things on 3d max how do i combine them with other projects i made?

  • Awesome ! I hope I get an expirienced modeler :D

or ... minimum , to get out one nice model :D !

  • ok did u see my hour glass im trying to add that to another project how would i do that do u kno??

  • eh ...

  • thanks lol

  • very very nice!

i wish i could make those planet things :(

    but i cant yet xD

    got one question,

    hope you can answer,

how you made the animations such long?

i can only make them like 3 seconds!

  • wauw!

This is exactly why most people want to learn 3d-modelling.

If i'm correct i can see somemodels made from the online-tutorials..just great to see it at work!

    Thanks for this contribution!

    Wkr

  • ok, it was pretty cool

  • this is amazing,

where did u get the tutorials?

    pliz tell me

  • how do you make things fly and move?

  • nice you made New York but you didn't finished it

  • Comment removed

  • by running the plug in duhhhhh

  • Cool

  • do you need to have a powerful graphics card to do animate this stuff or an onboard card makes the job done?

  • Not really, I just use a Radeon X300SE and I can make 3d renders in a short time, it really just depends on how long the animation is, or the amount of detail you put into the models

  • I once took a 3DS Max course at my college. I thought it was awesome. I hope to master it and produce work like this. Looks cool!

  • I want to learn 3d max

  • perhaps you should post a video of how you actually make something like that from scratch

  • Cooleso bro! You got skills! whats that song you used called?

  • Don't know the name of song but its from software (3dMark 2000, demo run)

  • ok thanx anyways!

  • wich version of 3ds max is this?

  • hoe can i do a video with 3dsmax?

i dont know how to export my animation to a video...

  • go to render(F10)."set active time segment".click button "files",then chose where to save file and type of video.click "RENDER" button

  • thx

  • go to rendering>render..

choose segment CHOSE RANGE :) and then type the range of you animation.

scroll down, click files type in some shit and select .avi format ;), click ok,then render... i'm sure that'll do anyway screw 3ds max go find some girls have party leave 3ds max to loosers :D

  • nice animations man!

  • ok thnx a lot :D

  • ok i know u used the hose for the pump thing but how did u make it go up and down like that?

  • its animation, not "real life" physics :D ere a quick workflow: create cylinder, set height segments to ~50, convert to mesh, select 2 rings of vertexes and scale inward, then leave 2 rings intact and so on, add mesh smooth modifier, animate along the vertical axis (scale). thats it.

  • Damn good stuff on that. I really like the particle effects used too ^_^

  • omg... nice! i've got 2 questions:

-1st: how long did you work on that?

-2nd: do you know a good 3D program to learn to mak things like that (or easier things)?

  • wuuuw!!! 5*... did you go to the highschool for this?...

  • nop, best highschool is soft chair in front of your screen and loads of free time ;)

  • what programme you use?

  • 3D Studio Max, that should be obvious from the name of the video ;)

  • Nice real Nice Love the car should do more with the car or a 360 of it

  • its great man i have to ask. where can i download this videos? cause i would really like to used them in a presenttion i have to do in my highschool about the animtion career

  • thanks. original videos are in my computer because those are my creations. it is first time that anyone else have seen them. but you can freely use youtube video ;)

  • i love it!

  • yeah,nice!

  • i had to say that was pretty awsome man good job

  • thanks
