The airliner should show the vapour trails join into two and each curl round along an helical path caused by wing-tip vortexes. Have a look upwards on the next clear-sky day.
I've tried Blender and my oppinion is it's to... complex. Thats right, complex. I'm not talking about functions but about user interface. For me Max is more intuitive so I stick to it.
Tell me, which part of my post indicated I haven't read it? I comment your use of modifiers and reactory, whileas your description only tells me where you got your 3D models. Your car was the only render that appeared above, well.. 1:57 says it all.
The description should work as disclaimer for all kind of "smart-ass" comments on quality/rendering/models etc. I should've just let your comment slide by. So in case i misinterpreted some of your words - my mistake. Btw there's no reactor, nor bumpmap used at 1:10.
Oh I wasn't looking to make a smartass comment, I was rather complimenting this was done two years ago before the 'auto smooth' function worked with turbo smooth, and you sure there's no bump? ;o
No plugins, just simple spotlights. Upper lights color set to soft violet, falloff=2x hotspot. Lower are similar only yellow and shape set to rectangle. Material self ilumination 100 and glow is just rendering effect. All values are very aproximate because its best just to try and see what is good for you. Actual car lights look very different, this was just creative play.
Actualy R3, and it was 6 years ago. Also i'm curious why do you think it is 1st version? If it is for quality then i can make same animations with Max2010, so whats your point?
CarGeek, are you jealous of other people oppinion, because you can't afford same kind of oppinion because you think that you are WAY better than me? That is just plain stupid ;)
By the way, YES, you CAN download 3DS Studio MAX 2010, you just have to know where to look. Seriously, Geek, get real ;)
more bump? not sure. highest bump would be 8.8km vs 13.000 km (diam. of the earth), so i'm not sure any shadows would be visible at this video resolution. no specular? ocean albedo is low but at shalow angle it reflects considerable amount of light. also there is waves that make surface uneven and thus more light backscattering. that light have stronger yellow tint and is dimmer than in video, but still it is there.
yah but when i import it it open`s a error but now i know that the problom is that i have 3dsmax 7 and i need 3dsmax 9 for those models that i downloaded but now i have 3dsmax 7 models
cool vid!!!! hey i got a question, i used to be able to drag textures from the internet right into 3ds materials. But its not doing it no more, im not exactly sure, it seems to download but i dont see it in 3ds. can anyone help me?
Not really, I just use a Radeon X300SE and I can make 3d renders in a short time, it really just depends on how long the animation is, or the amount of detail you put into the models
choose segment CHOSE RANGE :) and then type the range of you animation.
scroll down, click files type in some shit and select .avi format ;), click ok,then render... i'm sure that'll do anyway screw 3ds max go find some girls have party leave 3ds max to loosers :D
its animation, not "real life" physics :D ere a quick workflow: create cylinder, set height segments to ~50, convert to mesh, select 2 rings of vertexes and scale inward, then leave 2 rings intact and so on, add mesh smooth modifier, animate along the vertical axis (scale). thats it.
its great man i have to ask. where can i download this videos? cause i would really like to used them in a presenttion i have to do in my highschool about the animtion career
thanks. original videos are in my computer because those are my creations. it is first time that anyone else have seen them. but you can freely use youtube video ;)

no i don,t think so becouse actually 4d cinema is better and easier so me gonna crack 4d cinema some day!
TheEpicIce 2 years ago
4d cinema is good...but 3Ds max is much more designd for large scale works.
4D cinema is great and it can be compared with 3Ds max...but how many times did you see 4D cinema used in games ?
btw Maya is also there as well as Zbrush

You really need to improve both lighting and other adjustments for final rendering.
Also, the music is just horrible.
