when he clipped the inside tire he broke something in the steering, probably a tierod, so when he finally straightened out he had no control of the left front tire. Not uncommon in open wheel cars. Them infield tires are pretty heavy especially the ones this track is using. Theyve gotta weight around 200lbs at least!
