Joe Sakic's incredible play and amazing personality is really missed in hockey nowadays. He was the smartest player on the ice and knew how to create scoring opportunities. What he did in passing the Cup to Ray Bourque is something we will never see by other captain again. Joe the great, you are really really missed. Wish you all the happiness you deserve!!!

Im a die hard bruins fan and i must say i cheered for the avs like it was the bruins in the finals...i cried a little when ray hoisted the cup...it was amazing

I remember this game. My stepdad got my brothers,himself, and I tickets cuss at the time he was trying to bond with us. He purposed to my mom in game 3 of the series. She asked us to do this for her. We new that It was not just for her, after I cout my dad cheating with my wicked stepmother, I was the one to tell my mom. Now 8 years later I look at Jeff not as my stepdad, but as my dad.

Joe Sakic is the classiest guy to ever play the game! Being a Bruins fan & seeing him pass it to Ray & letting him hoist it first still gives me goosebumps watching it! He also wore #91 in the 2002 olympics so Yzerman could wear #19.

I cried when Ray hoist the Cup...I remember this game like it was yesterday...it was early morning in Sweden and i watched the whole game because i love Colorado AVS,Super Joe and Peter Forsberg so much:D

Damn these were the good times, with Joe, Patrick, Peter, Ray and the rest of the team. The era is over, but I'm sure Matt Duchene and Paul Stastny will soon drive the team into another great era for the Avs.

As a Avs fan the 2001 season was one of the most exciting in my life its great to relive this a little. Born and raised in San Diego I'm a Padres and Chargers fan too, so I've been through my fair share of bad seasons, so its cool to relive this moment.
