I got this gun today. I fired 10 rounds through it and it worked like a charm. After holding this gun you will immediately see the overall quality of the gun is much higher than the S&W 15-22. I had them both side by side and the HK impressed me much more. Regardless of the dummy bolt catch. I am very happy with this purchase.

Not hating on the .22 416 but for my taste its not only the fake bolt catch and forward assist. But also the fake barrel shroud (very airsoft-ish) the non proprietary parts such as the buffer tube and magazines etc.. Not to mention you cant even take the BCG out for cleaning. Imo s&w and sig are far superior to the umarex. At least the mp1522 (except mags for s&w)and sig522 can use the same parts as their center fire brothers and field striping is nearly identical.

Umarex... I just got one of these last weekend. I have not shot it yet. I am not a black rifle guy. Please school me.... there seems to be alot of play (forward and backward)between the stock and tube where it slids back and forth at each set point. Is there a way i can tighten it up myself? Other than that it is awesome. Please advise. Thanks.

@hiwaytahell There is some play that will allow for movement at each of the set points. That is a normal function of the gun.

1. No full autos

2. No detachable mags for assualt rifles unless bought outside the state

Basically u can but make sure its not full auto when I can this will be the first rifle I will ever purchase =)
