Management obviously rushed Eddie out too quickly after rehab to avoid tons of lawsuits. Even bad, he could outplay 98% of the most popular bands' guitarists. Give him some time, and he'll be back to normal. As long as he and Al are part of the mix and Dave realizes it's not all about him, they will continue to kick ass! I do miss Mikey's bass and high notes! Ed's written enough music for 10 albums, and once he finally gets a good rest post-rehab, a new album WILL come out. Bet on it!

This is the first, 2-12-08 Bank Atlantic Center show. I saw it. Sounded much better than this recording. In Jacksoville the 16th play was fantastic. Check out some better recordings. However, it was at the so far final 2-20-08 Bank Atlantic Center VH concert that Ed stumbled over his pedals and knocked his mic over laying flat on his back moments before the final fiasco at end of Jump where he and Wolfie pitched guitars and Ed knocked over an amp following a pissed(?) Wolfgang offstage.

a lot of clunkers in the intro and in the solo. during the '04 tour when ed was said to be in bad shape, it seems that he took more liberty to introduce lame, sloppy fills in the rhythm parts. i see those things happening here too.

I had an awesome seat (front row of section 5) and I was definitely feeling good :-), but with that said it did sound better than this video from my seat. If you know all the words to the songs than you don't have to try to make them out. Besides they always change them up a bit when they're live anyways :-) If your a true VH fan than they can do no wrong. I'm not trying to pick a fight or anything, just a huge fan that had a great time at a great show :-)
