thank you, I tried. What would be best is if more people saw this video. Please share it with as many people that you know. If 10,000 people saw it, just think, that would be 10,000 people that would no longer purchase products from Sears, yet alone have their carpets cleaned by them! Maybe one person can't stop them from behaving badly, but 10,000 lost customers may have more of an impact!
We have to stand up to these big companies that think they are untouchable. Go the full distance and do it not just for yourself, but for all consumers! We are rooting for you!
The carpet fibers were permanently damaged/destroyed by the black substance, Sears wanted to repeatedly try to lift the stain, & then say everything was ok, BUT lifting the stain would not fix the problem, as the carpet would never be the same again, because the carpet fibers were destroyed, & they did not look ever again like it had "before". Conrad Harris manager for Sears in Bridgeview IL & Tina Corn customer service Ohio are to blame, along with Sears lawfirm. Do not buy anything from SEARS!
I am a Carpet cleaner using truck mounts and portables and I have never seen anything like that before that machine must of been in terrible condition. If it is Clean by a professional good chance most of it would come up. But lots of bigger companies hire labor not experience cleaner. Experience and trained people cost to much.
it is down to the c/c tec's to make sure that their equipment is functioning properly, that machine looks like its been pulled out of a swamp, i'd never contemplate using faulty equipment, no question! "COWBOYS"
I do not blame these men for the fire, Sears did not maintain their equipment. I BLAME SEARS for how they did not take responsibilty, once the damaged occured. They repeatedly tried to remove the spot they created, which destroyed the carpet fibers, and the carpet needed to be replaced, because of this accident. Sears did not want to pay to replace the carpet they destroyed, that is the issue here. I posted this video so no one else would be subjected to the same treatment by Sears.
This Sears carpet cleaning location is NOT a franchise of Sears, I asked them, under oath. They are company owned. I do NOT blame these workers. The company failed to maintain their equipment & an accident can happen to anyone. I blame SEARS for not taking responsibilty for the damage they caused, after the accident. I won the arbitration award, because I was right in seeking damages.
Vicky, good luck with that, don't cut them any slack. Sears have hit rock bottom in my books. There are so many complaints about them, I don't know how they stay in business. They certainly don't deserve to.
@Keebird2 Thank you...I won the arbitration award at the hearing but SEARS rejected the award & is forcing me to a jury trial in 2 weeks! Unbelievable!
