I'm surprised he doesn't simply have two sets of rollers, a set of wide and narrow ones, allowing the fish to come in the wide ones and the narrow ones dehooking them, you'd think just running the longline through that would work fine and have a table to sort them.
why not just use a cut peice of dogfish? sounds better than buying squid and herring
