@retrostringbean Apparently the parent's groups felt that laser weapons were more kid friendly in the 1980's and 1990's cartoons which is why their where so many of them.

Anyone else hear remember the action figures? I still have mine and just purchased more of them online. They are great toys, and thanks to Jr. here I started watching his uncle James Bond 007 on video, and became a fan for life.

If your going to do a cartoon based on the James Bond movies (which is what many young fans would have wanted in the early 90's as the film series was on hiatus), then why not do it based on the actual real James Bond, this Bond kid just seems arragant and annoying, but a caroon series with a Connery look and talk alike going around doing what Bond does, that would have been a classic.
