  • I have a slash and it's water proof

  • @kevie88

    Lol, nice!

  • hehehe

  • Is this mikeysrc?

  • awsome but im not testing mine

  • Just go nitro, Nuff said

  • @slash4x4lipo no vxl

  • lol DONT TRY THIS AT HOME WE ARE PRO IDIOTS LOL

  • vxl?

  • dont try this at home my ass. My slash would clear the jump... go over the forest and hit the house next door

  • They should come waterproof. Atleast mine did and ive had absolutely no problems with mine

  • @SUBLIMEBANDRULES hell yeah its worth it definately get it man i have one and i have nothing but good things to say about it

  • What all do you have to do to make it waterproof?

  • its not waterproof i have one

  • I just got some extra cash... whats a good RC car... i seen a slash for $249.99 Is it worth it? i plane on puttin a beatin on it.... jumps mud sand water CRASSHES(im shur!!!)can it handle it?????

  • where do we bbuy this jump???

  • DAMIT PEOPLE FROGET TO PUT THE BRICK INTO THE TRAXXAS SLASH

  • view my video plz!

  • We got those at toys r us...they are just skateboard/bmx ramps

  • Where do you buy the jumps ? (name, brand, where I can buy it)

  • We are professional Idiots

  • Hahaha thats awsome man!

  • The slash is very fameous!

  • Wat is the best starter truck for around 300 bucks. I'm thinking about the Traxxas Slash Pro 2WD RTR Electric Short-Course Truck

  • i've watched your vid soo many times . really cool jump. check out my slash snow jump vid. its pretty cool jump

  • Ramp this little devil up to 70 and jump the full pool.

  • i already have a Tamiya TT-01, HSP Drift Car, Electric 1/12 Road Bike & im deciding what to buy next a Great Vigor BL Cage, Traxxas Slash or a Team Associated SC10? what's the best out of them 3?

  • Dude you might as well go burn 300 bucks

  • @tejveer18 - you should go in and talk with them. See what they reccomend locally. They may support certain cars better than others in terms of parts, etc. Under a $100 is going to be very tough for a hobby grade RC car. What will be close is the HPI E10 which is available in a drift version, the Tamiya TT-01 series is also close in price, just slightly more. Another thought would be to look at the a "micro" car. Losi makes a 4wd Rally and Short Course Car in a RTR format.

  • Hey I have a local HobbyTownUSA near buy and i want to buy a R/C Drift Car. Is there any specific car that i could purchase for under $100? If not is there any other type of R/C car for under $100? And I don't really care about the size too much. THNX!

  • @tejveer18 a good car for that would be a team losi mini t its small but fast

  • Below@ exactly I'm with u

  • it isnt a fricken boat... it doesnt have prop so stop treating it like one... some people shouldnt be allowed to own a $300 toy if they are just gunna treat it like that. if you look in the owners manual it says that all of the electronics are waterproof but it neversaid anything about the torque clutch or the drivline stuff

  • @immahick123 ya as long as u drie it its fine

  • Awesome! Almost hit dude in the head. Hey, check out a slash racing sc10s by clicking the TNXER link to the left.

  • Thumbs up if you wanted to see it bop off the guys head.

  • @SvenOkonomi Suprise suprise a jerk comment brought to us by svenO. Takes real brains to make stupiud jerk comments all the time huh.

  • @MikeysRC Drudging through your old videos to see if I posted in them, that's how you spend the day? Those sponsors making you puppet for them on screen must be paying quite well I see. So how about you sit and spin on each of the 34 thumbs up my remark on this video got?

  • @SvenOkonomi No, I was quickly searching through YOUR videos not MINE. Geeez get it right dude. I'm just doing a little due diligence research to see if my videos are the only ones you leave negative feedback on or if you really are a turd to others. I wasn't suprised to easily find other videos where you left stupid comments. That's a good reflection on the kind of person you really are. It only took 1 minute of looking to find negative comments from you, tells ya something huh.

  • @MikeysRC Lets just remove the thumbs down from all youtube videos because mikey has a big bug up his arse thinking were not allowed to have an opinion. That better mike? Go back to peddling your crap to ignorant people, nobody cares what you think.

  • @SvenOkonomi You can spin on the thumbs of my 9,653 (that's 9,654 - 1 since you unsubscribed, YAY good riddance) subscribers.

  • What if we don't HAVE a local hobby shop, eh?!

  • Mikey this was a nice jumps 5/5

  • why don't you have the body on? The most dangerous thing about this is not having the body on, you really don't want to smash that receiver unit, or the esc...

  • good thing u got the fat kid if it were skinny the skinny kid could had have broken ribs

  • Now it's a traxxas 'Splash!'

  • is there a bunch of maintenance that comes with it

  • there is no way i would do that if you came up short that would be a hard smack on the pool wall

  • that was awsome

  • it is waterproof its no problem if it gets into water

  • Gotta love the waterproof systems. We run our pedes and slash 4x4 in water and mud all the time.

  • how do you make it water proof? the other day mine just flat out DIED ahah. ESC or watever it is fried up.

  • OMG u from concord? where that pool at i don't see any pool around hobbytown there

  • OMG u from concord? where that pool at i don't see any pool around hobbytown there

  • Could it drive on the bottom of the pool? that would be awesome!

  • That is cool does it do that out of the box

  • dude you could of broke it!

  • that was going slow to make a jump like that!

  • this is 1 10 isn't it jeah the 1:16 scale sucks for the slash then the e-revo 1 16 is more fun then the e revo 1 10 but the mini slash sucks

  • Wow that's cool

  • wow kid r u slow that titian motor that comes stock with the slash is junk and no its not water proof it says that it is but its not traxxas is just bullshiting

  • What happened the third time?

  • is that the stock slash

  • i cant decide what to get.. a {traxxas slash 4x4} OR a {traxxas rustler VXL}. i want something fast and can do some good offroading and jumps -- im leaning towards the rustler VXL

  • lol this truck is 30mph stock and 60 to 65 mph with brushless

  • 45mph stock. with velenoin motor 80 mph

  • that is SO exagerated.

  • wats da max speed on one of these?? i have a Fastlane buggy that pwns my pool and goes 20mph while mudding.. 12v

  • Waterproof it is... BUT, pools have a very high conductivity due to the particles in the water. Pools can conduct electricity 1000s of times better than normal water. That was a risky move.

  • Haha cool i am a girl and i have one,

  • @davesfarmfan1 are those two bits of information supposed to mean anything to us?

  • @yascumbag I just said something god.

  • @davesfarmfan1 yeah im a guy and i dont

  • They are only like 100 dollars

  • @davesfarmfan1 2nd hand

  • sweet i'd like to jump that with my truck.

  • your video is SUPER AMAZING! You caught some serious air time!!! I have some pool jumps on my channel, and I would really appreciate it if you would check them out and subscribe. If you subscribe to me ill subscribe to you! Great filming!

  • haha i get all my shit from hobby town here in the Lehigh Valley

  • i just got mine today tomorrow im gonna take it out on a full charge and drive through the snow and slush. This is the coolest thing i owned that

    the casino paid for.

  • Labour day!

    What?

    No!

    *bang*

    phss

    Uhh!!!

  • i work for my dad all summer and make pretty good money for it

  • HEY EVERYONE! check out the video response made by me it a fully waterproofed 1/16th revo completely submerged in water!

  • Did u have a lipo in it or anything or was that stock..?

prety sweet tho by the way

  • Man that's very strict on rc. I'm 14 and I fully submerged my e revo 1/10 the other day and it's fine. I worked and paid for it and am proud to call it mine.

  • i like how it goes so slow and makes the jumps LOL

  • it looks slow to clear it but it was cool

  • @stunnedhyprkid but in this video they have a pool with chemical which will make it rust faster

  • lol....nice!!

  • is it nitro ?

  • @yboben

Does it sound nitro? NO, it's not nitro...

  • do you here an engine?

  • LOL, here?

    or HEAR

  • both xD

  • it's electric.... nitro is loud

  • I like the kid "catching" it, lol.

  • hey mikey was that a 1/10 scale or 1/16 scale and wich one is better?

  • That was 1/10 scale. And IMO, while the 1/16th is considerably faster...the 1/10 scale one is alot better and a more enjoyable truck to own. If you're set on the 1/6th size, look at the revo instead.

  • @mikeytaramikey did ur bearings rust up ? or anything ?

  • So a traxxas slash is just waterproof. What about the battery and engine does that matter?

  • nope

  • LMFAO!!!! X-D

    Genius!

    5/5

  • lol a jato 3.3 would of cleared the pool...and the grass

  • This one is not 4WD it is the 2WD slash and you do not need to do anything to make it waterproof. Heck we even did this without the body on!

We did do preventative maintence *afterwards* as the video states, we blew it off with an air compressor and we sprayed the bearings and screws down lightly with WD40 to keep the moisture off.

  • its actully 4wd they made a new one and DO NOT DO this you need to tape over the reciever box with electric tape then coat it with liquid tape.

  • Thats sweet

I have one and had NO IDEA it could go UNDER the water.

  • after it gets water u should go through and clean all metal parts. especially bearings.

  • Yeah, good idea if you wanna make it Last =3

  • @crushgear64 pussy

  • 2wd or 4wd

  • 2wd

  • 2wd

  • the slayer wich is nitro is 4wd

  • but the 1/16 scale slash is 4wd

  • o yeah i forgot about that one

  • Comment removed

  • i did something like that with my slash and it got wrecked so i replaced the parts. i belive they r water ressistant not water proof.

  • lol that gets ya every time ...

  • All the Traxxas XL-5 vehicles are now shipping with waterproof gear.

The battery was fine. We blew it off with an air compressor.

  • treu. But the only advertise on it with the slash...

Good thing for me. The shock of my rustler came apart the other week. The ESC would have been dead if it was not water proof XD

  • is the battery ok what do you do after it gets wet or did you water proof it?

  • are rustler xl 5's as waterproof as these apart frm the batterie im not sure on the esc help me out? it has the same motor and servo so... im wondering... =]

  • Nice!!! 5/5 +FAVOURITES

  • Nice... Hobbytown Concord FTW!

  • dude u act like its a toy

  • if its not a toy then wats it? a military car?

  • @nickerman55 It is.

  • @nickerman55 Thats because it is. :D

  • @nickerman55 errr it is a toy dont go to far

  • @nickerman55 it is a toy

  • @nickerman55 dude, it is a toy

  • How does the battery not get wet?

  • ooo

    ok thank oyu

  • Comment removed

  • I believe so

  • The slash was not produced in 2006. Not until 2008.

  • hope he didn't put wd40 in the motor...

  • nice vid man i live in concord too where is ur hobby shop?

  • damm thats cool

  • nice video...but too short!how much km/h??or mp/h??

  • They can get up to 50Km/h (30Mp/h)

  • ughhhhh........... ive seen them go 60 mph u know nothing about the slashes i do infact i own 2 and race every week at my local rc raceway

  • how does the batt not get wet

  • nope. VXL are currently not water tight. I believe this will change soon though..so maybe hang tight.

  • If i upgrade my slash to the VXL will it still be water tight?

  • LOL don't do this. LiPo cells do not do water, and will short and explode.

  • Only if they have a salt water pool. Fresh water is a really bad conductor of electricity, and will only slowly (very very very slowly) drain the power from a lipo battery.

  • Yeah and now MaxAmps makes a waterproof LiPo.

  • LiPos might or might not explode, but I've only got good experiences with lipos and water. Ofc, don't use any RC car in salty water, as it will eventually eat your motor and other iron parts such as turnbuckles and screws.

  • nice jump man

  • thats a cool jump, once my slash accidently fell into my friends pool and the reciever broke.

  • haha no.

  • what batterie are you runnin?

  • Nice jump, but nnot to sure about the car i would get the Rustler VXL!!!

  • LoooL

    Great!

  • NICE COMMENT BUT SUCKY USERNAME

  • you suck

  • hey sweet video awsoem truck too. i was woundering how that car runs on 7-cells as far as power and top speed?

  • nice

  • nice jump!!

  • Can you say - I can't read?

We said we blew the truck off with an air compressor and sprayed the truck with WD-40. Spots like bearings, screws and the trans, were all blown off and sprayed down.

Never once do we say you can't maintain your truck!

  • i know that the slash is waterproof but i don't think its good for it to be completely submerged in the water like that

  • awesome vid!

  • Can you weight it so that you can drive it round the bottom of the pool, or fit big fat sand paddle tyres and drive it across the pool flat out, that'd be cool, great vid you crazy dude, keep it up!

  • yeah, he should totally do that thing you suggested w/ the paddle tires!

  • I don't think its fast enough with the stock electronics to ride on top of the water. You would need brushless, sadly there is no stock waterproof brushless esc's available.

  • I did drive it around on the bottom at another time. Water got into the RX and ESC, still works however.

  • Doing it

  • you should send this to hobby town!!!!!!!!!!1

  • when is the swap & meet will be held again?

  • nice

  • lol pro idiots
