i agree, ive killed 3 moose in my life all with a parker hale .270.and all where over 125 yards. each took 1 150grain powerpoint bullet, and all 3 dropped within 200 yards of where they were shot.

Got to agree with Alldiscombobulated , assasin are you kidding the 270 is one of the best rifles to hunt with great for deer moose bear any big game animal. only someone who has a case of slight retardation would disagree with anyone taking a moose at 200 yds with a 270. its all in the placement of the shot it will die sooner or later just cause you dont knock it over with one shot doesnt mean it hasnt done the job.
