  • good idea for the audio pad, isn't a headphone volume attenuator will do same or better control ? (i prefer Shure EA650 Volume Control $ 17.95 at amazon) ... i happen to have the same camera for in-car recording...

  • which is better, this or the Sanyo xacti cg10?

  • I'm not familiar with the Sanyo.

  • sanyo

  • Alot of over modulation during the whole video. I could not get through 9 minutes of hearing it. Good luck Jim!

  • *5 minutes

  • Update: Tonight I made a 20db pad, which turned out to be too much, the audio was very low. Tomorrow or the next day I'll make a 12-14db pad, that ought to be just right.

  • @JimNtexas Hi Jim, if the audio is too low in volume you can just boost it on your computer after! Maybe I'm a year too late...

  • My camera performs in a similar way at night. It has trouble focusing due to the low light. Cool vid though. It's going to be really nice once everything is set

  • You are a electronic ( Super) genus! LOL I use the Kodak v570 and it records in the MOV format. I use Alive Video Converter ( Do a Google) and it works great. I'm thinking about using my old compact VHS C camcorder. Its a JVC GR-SXM260U on top of the Top Box to give a rear view.

Don't know the DPI but it has High Resolution and a 700x digital zoom. No external mic imput sorry to say.

    Test will be coming soon.
