  • Without doubt, this is an Aussie CLASSIC and should be played every day to the youth who have there poor ears filled with crap every day, and realise what rock n Roll is and does to the soul!

  • Awesome song, still remember when it was out and i loved it then, i even still have the cassette of the record it was on in my car :)

  • @russoct

    What covers?

  • No dude, they aren't covers, so don't write shit about what you do not know ok? you will come across as ignorant...

  • Remiinds me of my youth. Fuckin cool song.

  • thank you you tube I could not find this song anywhere else.... may did the 80's and early 90's kick ass. Then along came stupid hip-hop and bubble gum pop

My sons know all their songs ....but have never heard of G'n'R!

  • in my top 5 fave albums very underated remember seeing them on HEY HEY !!

  • AUSSIES ROCK!!!!

  • I was there too, at the Palace, and so many bands that played there regularly never got the recognition they deserved. Those were the days, real music played by real musicians !!!!

  • Currently going through a KOTS fest. I remember seeing them at the Palace in St.Kilda 89/90 and the crowd was rabid. Standing near MIchael Gudinski of Mushroom he just looked perplexed and bermused as in "why aern't these guys huge"? They rocked.

  • Gr8 stuff as always! Go Hoady!

  • yo go

  • Does anyone know where I can find the song "Hot to Trot"? Thanks

  • Wow I used to listen to this band a lot in the 80´s. Specially 88/89.

  • Pretty cool seeing the video now for the first time after owning the CD and rocking out to this tune for 22 years now. Great band, one of the best drummers I have ever heard too.

  • KotS really rocked 1989/90 I still have great memories of their concert support Kiss

Can anyone upload Tom Boy ,Medicine Man, Jealous or Your on Top of the Bottom of my Heart

  • Correction -

I like Kiss, but these guys were way better

  • They would have probably been a lot bigger if they didn't have such a lame singer XD.

  • Anyone got Vicious Delicious by these guys? I freaking loved that one

  • I played the shit out this record in my late teens.

  • @lickknob11: I'm still playing the shit out of it in my fifties :)

  • @QuoTime I need a turntable. This album has sat silent in my collection for almost 20 years

  • God I loved this song way back in the day...still got this one in my record collection :)

  • Only got this on vinyl lp , best song by far is "get on up "

  • Great mix of 70's and 80's glam rock - I could just imagine Alvin Stardust covering this one! Why weren't they a major success? Their previous single Serpentine just scraped the bottom half of the top 50 in 1988.

  • theyve been HOT since High school and still ARE ;-)) Go Cliffie ;-))))) Love ya drums :-))

    RULES!!!!

  • Put "CRY FOR 4 LOVE" up, please.

  • Brings back memories.

  • Whatever happened to these guys ? After second album they sank without trace.

  • That was a great song. Saw them in NYC back in the day.

  • You know, for a minute there at the start, I thought the lead singer was Josh Todd from Buckcherry for a minute, lol. KOTS were an awesome band

  • Was at that gig in Edinburgh, thought they were awesome!

  • awesome , and it aint no lie

  • Bah, if you wanna see rock, OZ rock the way it used to be with a huge jab of steroids, check out Electric Mary on myspace. Blow your mind.

  • love em...saw them lots of times!! say hi to fran the man ..lol

  • I can remember seeing these guys at the Sydney Ent Centre supporting The Gunners. Oh the good ole days.... 20 years ago..

  • Great band, miss these guys. Thanks for the post!

  • This group so rocks but they had one song that had an indian chant to it...does anyone remember the name of the song? I can't think ofit for the life of me.

  • I think u mean Medicine Man, love them all!!!

  • I so thank u...it has been bothering me for the longest time.

  • And I think your mom gave me herpes, but you don't hear me complaining.

  • i love this song.. give me black.. give me leather.. what do you have? you have slash!

  • One of those great bands that came and went. Their self-titled debut from where this song originated was an absolute ass-kicker from start to finish! And really, in this modern day of lame musical trends and unoriginal bands this music sounds really timeless; straight up rock n roll with no crap.

  • Very cool. Was there ever a clip for Bottom Of My Heart?

  • yes there was

  • Chicago, 1990 - Live @ The Vic with headliner Bruce Dickinson. Some giant a-hole biker was trying to look tough, holding up his middle finger during KOTS's entire set. Midway through, after the band had completely won over the crowd, singer J Hoad comes out with a nail file, and while singing, hilding the mic with one hand, proceeds to give the a-hole biker a one finger manicure (unicure?)!! All the while with a shit-eating grin that was just priceless. AWESOME band.

  • Saw the lead singer from Kings of the Sun on the goldie about 6 years ago when i was up there for the Carrara KISS gig he was a cool dude and told him quickly how i grew up getting amped for surf trips on tracks like Serpentine!!!

  • I saw them in edinburgh supporting kiss, the singer fell off the stage lol but they played a well good set

  • I think they are actually from Qld. Never mind, a rocking band. Saw them many times and loved each time. I actually went to school with original bassist, Anthony Ragg. Hoad brothers are now Rich & Famous. Their current cd rocks! I hope to Christ they are gigging in Surfers next month as i am going up and would love to catch them. They supported Rose Tattoo last year at the Hard Rock.

  • Toured the UK ages ago as support ofr Kiss....awesome, the Hoad brothers are stars!!!!

  • Saw these guys in Port Pirie in 1991 backing up for Jimmy Barnes on his Heat album tour.

Nobody new them, i can remember i was the only one rocking out front of stage, but that was cool, they are actually from Sydney

  • cool

  • OMG, I love this video...I remember this from when I was a kid. It's awesome you posted it.

  • these cats are very underrated!

  • Serpentine was a badass song! I could do with out this shit here tho.

  • Serpentine was their best song!!!These guys were Kiwis aren't they! Not Aussies!

    gurnster666

  • Nah mate, they were from Melbourne, fully fledged aussie rockers.

  • Do you know what was said by the lead singer that caused so much controversy on the GnR support?

  • The singer chucked a brown eye at the crowd and said something about GnR, I can't remember what. Axle Rose shut them down straight away!

  • bahaha good on him mayb u should take it as a joke

    not an offencesive thing

  • I was replying to someone who asked what happened at the GnR concert in 88, in terms of why they ( KOTS )got kicked off the stage. I really couldn't give a stuff what he did. I was 17 at the time, I thought it was funny as hell. Offended? Nup, takes a lot more than that.

  • haha righto then soz man

  • Yeah roger that lumba ma

  • Melbourne? I thought they were from Brissie...

  • Wow, that was pretty cool! I forgot about these guys, their first album was mostly great, and their second had some good songs too, like Crazy. Nice to see, TFP

  • Australia's answer to David Lee Roth! One of the best Aussie songs ever written.

  • DLR moves (with a bit of jagger) and Steven Tyler voice-They should have been huge

  • awesome ! First cd i ever bought and i still play it !

  • most over the top front man ever,i mean that as a compliment

  • Searched for this vid for a while......this is the shit!.....

  • THE iconic leather song . . . just read the lyrics!

"hey boy, come on wrap your toy in black leather, skin tight sure feels all right, it's black leather! (...) I want it, I need it, I got to have it all, all over me!"

  • yeah but what about the leather? :)
