  • Masha'Allah. Thanks Shaykh! May God bless you and your household with Happiness in this world and akhira. Insha'Allah Ameen.

  • @Abdelbaasit. Yes, the hadith in question is "weak" but I think that the way it has been used in this short discussion is valid since this video clip is on a matter relating to Fada'il. Thank you for providing the takhrij of the hadith. Baraka-Allah fik wa jazak khayran

  • The "hadeeth of the Prophet" quoted at 0:37

أحبوا الله لما يغذوكم به من نعمه ، وأحبوني لحب الله

has a lot of problems in its chain of narration (and was therefore declare 'weak' by many scholars). See Abu Nu`aym in his "Hilyah Al-Awliyaa", 3/245. And Al-Khateeb Al-Baghdaadi said in his "Taareekh Baghdad", فيه أحمد بن رزقويه غير معروف عندنا والذراع لا تقوم بقوله حجة

  • Futhermore, in "Minhaaj As-Sunnah" (5/396), Ibn Taymiyah said: إسناد ضعيف . And Imaam Adh-Dhahabi said in his "Siyar A`laam An-Nubalaa`", غريب فرد & then in "Meezaan Al-I`tidaal" 2/432, Adh-Dhahabi said about this same hadeeth: فيه عبد الله بن سليمان النوفلي فيه جهالة

Also, Al-Albaani has declared the hadeeth ضعيف in "Da`eef Sunan At-Tirmidhi", and also in Muhammad Al-Ghazzali's "Fiqh As-Seerah", 20.

  • *However, it can be argued that the meaning of the "hadeeth" -- though it may not be authentic from the Prophet himself -- is correct and there is nothing wrong with it.

Wonderful response by the way, to the new Muslim :) :) ما شاء الله, الله يحفظك, أكثر الله من أمثالك

  • Amazing masha'Allah.

What's that white book with the red border by the Sheik's soldier?
