Hey I have a question. From previous run-throughs of the game, I already know what lies in Haven. But although knowing how to get the "Thing" off the wheel and such, is it required Ingame to go to Haven to make progress on Serenia?
@CyclonedProductions I seem to remember reading that Haven could be skipped, though I have never tried it (so I can't say for sure). That being said, if you wish to skip Haven on your next play-through; all I can say is give it a try. It will either work or it won't. Though, if I had to guess, I would say that it would work.
I miss playing this game. It was my favorite before I got a new computer... my Mac Book Pro is running on Mac OS X: Version 10.6.3 and from what I read, Revelation only runs on Version 10.5 or lower... or something like that. I'm not really technically minded, so I don't know if that's true or not. If anybody can tell me a way to play Myst IV on my Mac Book Pro, I'd be eternally grateful! Thanks in advance!!
Even though Achenar is just chasing after Sirrus at this point, trying to stop him (presumably he was knocked out or something back in Haven), it still makes sense to follow him, since the player doesn't know that. So I agree that the game funnels you in that direction.
the color door is tricky to get to. but basically to open the door, it involves two things. the spire necklace and what you saw in dream. put them together and hey presto, the door opens.
i enjoy using these videos, but why go to serenia after spire? why not do both prison ages then go to serenia?
:3 im weird but i LOVE the linking book sound

I should be posting the next video within a day or two. Then we'll be off to Haven.
