Arrogant science? Is that the worst you can come up with? Arrogance isn't even a bad thing. It separates people who are great from people who are great but are afraid to admit it. :) Freedom of speech is arrogant. Voting is arrogant. Science is arrogant. The idea that one method is better than the other IS arrogant, and it's the foundation of all science and culture. I wish more scientists were arrogant... Maybe tell the ignorant to go to hell... ;)

Sagan is a hero of the modern world. Respect to him for taking on Astrology scientifically and calmly rather than dismissing it out of hand as many other scientists do, which gives astrologers the ability to claim they are ignores by "arrogant" science.
