  • Really really amazing job on this video! Keep up the good work!(:

  • GOOD WORK

  • i've always wanted to live in new orleans. love it:)

  • Im going to sound stupid, but what style of music dose the gator say in the river. Or what style of music dose he play

  • @hellozerov i think jazz hon:)

  • @hellozerov Isn't it just Jazz?

  • This is a quality video.

  • OMG this is my FAVORITE video! It gives a bit of it all!!!

  • why are we even chatting about Tangled here? WE ARE TALKING ABOUT TPATF!

come on, seriously? stop comparing, they are both good each in it's own way.

  • @nastyasophie This is better

  • @200damary i guess.... no. actually, tangled was adorable. i loved it. so no, not exactly. and tangled is more.....developed. better.....designed, better drawn. but this is a cute cartoon too.

  • one of my favourite songs in the movie!

  • Tangled was a little better

  • I wish Letty could have sang a song.

It would have probably been the type of song you can't stay still while listening to.

  • I dont get it why is everyone comparing this movie to tangled so much

    btw I Love this movie

  • anyone else notice that a paragraph was just repeated over and over for the newpaper.

  • I remember new orleans...this movie makes me miss it..i remember walking on the riverwalk and watching the chef make beignets... :)

  • i loveee this movie.

  • i like this song. it reminds me of my hometown....it's a song about where i was born. so i like it

  • I actually prefer the music in Tangled to TPATF. I LOVE Down in New Orleans (and the finale) and Almost There. The other songs to me were...eh. This movie is beautiful though! :)

  • @idkjade Really? I thought the music was the worst part of Tangled, especially after The Princess in the Frog. Haha. Except for "I See the Light", of course. I adore that song.

  • I like Tangled better but this movie was beautifull!

  • Excellent editing!

  • i had no idea Thomas Kinkade worked with disney o.o

  • this was seriously one of the best disney animated films!!!! the music was great, the characters were amazing and the villiain was a great villain!!! LOL i loved EVERYTHING about this movie!!!! and the fact that it was another jazz filled disney film and it was based in new orleans...it makes me wanna visit new orleans again when it's not in hurricane season, for real tho. and its even more special because it introduces Disney's first black princess!!! :-)

  • what would this music be classified as ? I am trying to find songs similar to this style. Would it be jazz? Blues ?

  • @8ohlala8 Jazz and some Gospel as well. It's not really the Blues I think.

  • Tangled is a good movie, dont get me wrong, but It's not disney. and she doesnt even look like the Disney Princesses.

  • 1:45 Me hace poner la piel de gallina!

  • Muy buen video, excelente! Esta en mis favoritos :D

  • Great video. I loved the clips you used. It was put together very seamlessly. Good work

  • Tangled was not that great; it just had great animation. Disney really needs to leave the 3D alone and get back to the hand drawn magic where everything started. The Princess and the Frog was amazing and very historical, and Disney had the potential of starting another Renaissance if Tangled was just plain Rapunzel in 2D with a better story line. Disney used to be talented enough to appeal to both genders regardless of the title. They need to get some people on their staff with more vision.

  • WHAT IS WRONG WITH U PPL!!!! TANGLED WAS AN AMAZING MOVIE AND NOTHING LIKE DREAMWORKS. If anyone hasn't noticed...Alan Menken and Randy Newman are two amazing men who really focus on their work. The songs for princesses and the frog were amazing and it was the same for tangled. They were two different stories being told...DONT JUDGE. half of u cant even read music...

  • @QueenoDisney

Totally agree Tangled IS AMAZING and so is princess and the frog, Disney had ruined it with these disney channel made movies that are making the younger generation forget about the classics, (aladin, beauty and the beast, cinderella, ect), But disney has brought the magic back and is on its way back on top, and hopfully it will stay that way always.

  • @QueenoDisney tangled sucks u only liked it cause she wasnt a nigro

  • @devore504 OK seriously that is very rude. The ppl at Disney work very hard and no Tangled does not suck. You have a right to your opinion but that kind of language is not called for. Don't use such vulgar language you jerk.

  • Nice clip selection and editing! :D It moved quite well with the music.

  • Nothing sounds better than some sweet jazz music! Woo

  • 'And anything can happen' A lovely sweet voice. Then BAM Jaazzzz :D

  • question. what does it mean when "all the men deliver,"? some answer please

  • @PopLuverGal It either means the men work hard to bring home earnings/cash/food, or that the men deliver "gentlemanness"

  • i know he's not real.......but i want to marry naveen SO BADLY.

  • i love the big man with the hankie at 0:57

  • I loved the movie! And i prefer the hand-drawn animation!

  • New Orleans is AMAZING! Beautiful place. i went there and didn't want to leave, TONS of friendly people. Ugh, I just wanna go back <3

  • Because of this movie, I wanna go to New Orleans and have the best time dancing to Jazz :D

  • I see a lot of people comparing Tangled with The Princess and the Frog. There's really no point. They're both enjoyable and entertaining in their own way. I know that if it makes me smile and re-watch it then it's a winner and both movies have done it for me. And as a 25 year old I'm not ashamed to say I'm a sucker for Disney's animated movies.

  • THIS IS FANTASTIC!!!!! This is my favorite movie EVER. And this just summed up everything I love about it, thank you. =)

  • I don't know how Anika Noni Rose holds that last note so long xD

  • I'm 26 and I have to say, THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG is my second favorite Disney movie of all time behind ALADDIN. I love the story, I loved the music and I loved how they talked a lot about food. I wanna go to New Orleans just to try out the food. Princess Tiana had to kiss a frog that not only won her a prince, but won her very own restaurant.

  • @7mandoblu u stupid Lion King and Princess and the Frog are the best

  • Jnb b. Cfxx

  • She is the most nongirly disney princesses. I love her! #1 animated disney girl!!!!

  • 4 people doesn't have a dream.

  • this is a great movie. where a smalltown girl (BLACK girl) in New Orleans works her best to get the restaurant her dad wanted her, then meets a prince, who's not a fine one in fact. in other princess stories, they're all so beautiful, with WHITE skin, and only do what they usually do. be nice, be pretty, etc. until a charming, perfect prince comes and sweeps them off their feet. but prince naveen ain't perfect, he prefers music than royalty, but they lived happier than other princesses.

  • @ilovealyna0306 Did we watch the same movie? Prince Naveen looks better than any other disney prince I've seen.

  • @Aches86 Well, for me he's tied with Eugene from Tangled, who is like a medieval Dimitri.. yummy disney/non men.

  • @Aches86 Naveen has a very likable face. I mean he had a great smile and nice eyes. Whoever designed him did an excellent job of making him unique and handsome. Not to mention the modern clothing was a great touch. His casual clothes from the beginning were nice.

  • @DimitrisduchessXD I felt the same way about Tangled. There was a lot to like, but for me it wasn't as phenomenal as this movie. :)

  • @ninjapretender Glad to know there are some out there who agree, but yes I think Tangled is still a great movie, but just not as amazing as when I went and saw this movie three times.

  • @DimitrisduchessXD Same here! I actually love both but Tangled didn't really try much new things with the story or music, where as Princess and the Frog was all about doing new things and taking chances with the style, story, and setting.

  • I love this movie. This is the original kind of magic that walt created. This move will be In our hearts forever.

  • This movie was epic along with tangled!

    Best movies!

(tangled could have been in cartoonthough)

  • Honestly, this video right here should have been a preview for this movie on TV hands down. It hit all the main points, and still left you wanting more. I love this movie, and I love the song choice. You did a really good job with this video ^^

  • really awesome! love it!

  • love the mix up here ^_^

  • Disney's Back! PATF was no fluke, and Tangled Proved that!

  • @jessicaalbalover I know right??? RAPUNZEL AND TIANA FTW!!!!

  • @KindomHPrincess Tangled is a great film... But the princesses need to stay in classic hand-drawn animation. Just my opinion

  • @Blu923the2nd tangled is the awesomest disney princess movie ever made. i think the princesses need to get out of the hand-drawn animation

  • @EvansAngel16 Tangled seemed more like a Dreamworks movie to me... I think the princesses need to stay in hand-drawn just because that is how Walt Disney started them :P

  • @Blu923the2nd good point.. lol but dreamwork movies are awesome.

  • @EvansAngel16 Yes, and yet notice Disney is far more ahead of them always.. Dreamworks is a fine movie studio but they just are like a bunch of flashing lights, amazing for some time but fading away over time, as Disney relies more on the story instead of trying to cram in as much pop refrences and trendy music as Dreamworks does.Rapunzel needs to be drawn into 2d to join the line up. She'd look just as beautiful in 2D as she did in 3d, after all she looks somewhat like Ariel.

  • @DimitrisduchessXD lol might be kinda sad, but i have never seen rapunzel in 2d.. ive seen a few rapunzels in 3d though.. but omg, i never noticed that. she does look like ariel lol

  • @Blu923the2nd same!

  • @Blu923the2nd Disney also started racist. New things shouldn't be feared.

  • @EnglishGavz How did they start racism? Racism has been happening for hundreds and hundreds of years.

  • @Blu923the2nd What I meant was when Disney first started there work was quite racially insensitive at times in the same way that when they started out hand drawn. The argument that someone shouldn't to new things because it's new never felt like a valid one to me.

  • @jessicaalbalover what is PATF?

  • @EvansAngel16 Princess and the Frog

  • This is so dang catchy! Love Princess and the Frog! LOOOVE IT!

  • As much as I liked Tangled, it was missing a few things. I mean Newmans style was repetitive in lyrics but really alen menken wasn't doing his finest on Tangled. I only loved two of the songs out of the whole movie, whereas I LOVED everysingle song in this flick down to the score. I guess after stepping into Jazz its hard to find the softer more "princessy" stuff more appealing, plus they didn't even really have an into song that all princess movies usually have to them.

  • @DimitrisduchessXD Seriously. I liked Tangled but I want to pimp slap everyone who said it was better than Princess and the Frog. The storytelling and characters are so obviously done so much better in PatF. Also, Tangled didn't feel like a musical. It felt like a movie with a couple of songs in it.

  • @strtthshw I'm glad not only I see it. Plus at times the songs felt a bit like they were thrown in, with the exception of the love song. I also think its kinda impossible to compare the two since they are so different. My friend made a good point though, if Tangled was marketed to boys, why aren't there like Flynn Rider playsets for them instead of all these dolls for girls? I still love Tangled but PATF is amazing to me and always will be, plus when I went and saw PATF people wanted to dance.

  • @DimitrisduchessXD I feel the same way. The music of Tangled wasn't the best and I didn't find it as memorable as the Princess and the Frog. I love that P&tF actually tried a LOT of new things in the film. They did a more modern setting, got fresh, colorful new musical styles, the art was amazing and every character had a character defining moment. Tangled was great too but I didn't think it came off like they were putting their best out with it as far as songs and the running gags felt forced.

  • @DimitrisduchessXD well bitch people from new orleans liked it go suck a big one u fat cow

  • @devore504 Wow, I sure hope you never get any critics on your videos, it seems you cannot handle others opinions.. Which I liked both movies, princess and the frog just a little more..

  • ok i'm SO gonna build a time amchine to go back to 1920's New orleans to expericne this for myself. the boom and fun of the 20's before the wall st crash

  • That's it! I'm going to New Orleans!

  • Finally I feel it again..the disney magic..:')

  • Welcome back disney. I missed you

  • LOVE THIS MOOOOOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • love dis movie !!!!!!! so far we got princesses of all races but we missin one more!!!! waitin 4 da latina princessa !!!!!! lol

  • i really wanna see this again. Only seeing it once wasnt enough ) :

  • I think what really made the movie more fun and romantic is because they introduced the prince AS WELL AS the princess. Showing the male character's personality gave the movie a certain Disney 'touch' that made me fall in love with him!

  • This was an amazing movie! The music was superb, the storyline was great, and I was so glad to see they used 2D animation again. Hopefully in the future they'll continue making epic movies like this. :) And, good job on your music video!!

  • fantastic voice, however it lacks Broadway touch that so many of the classic Disney films had, like the scores for the Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast, even Pocahontas... I blame Randy Newman, the man's a one-trick pony

The animation was awesome, the singing was incredible, but the music composition was lacking

  • you can only catch stuff like that in disney ;) trust me...ive tried

  • LOve this movie

  • This one was truly romantic unlike some of the old ones where they just fall in love like that . snaps fingers. This one had me going awwww

  • This looks so good! It looks professionally made! ;D

  • This video has my two favorite instruments in it :) ukulele and clarinet!

  • Oh my, this is awesome!

  • Is that really Anika's voice!?? WOOOOOOW!! She sings amazing!!!

  • I love this song from begining to end!... love the movie and all the characters as well. So Glad Disney's back!!!

  • wow really good

  • please god know straight to dvd sequel!

  • Comment removed

  • Superb video! The PATF was AWESOME!

  • No wonder Naveen got cut off, he rips apart his royal clothes and throws the crown away.

  • Most excellent video I have seen in years very well done.

  • 1:01 Bet they didn't think they'd be married someday.

  • @neonstar95 i know I LOVE IRONY like that! i love relation ships where they can;t stand easch other at first but not to long later they;re head over heals for each other!

they're the only disney couple to hate each other at first and so much you had to be scared they;d kill each other. who agrees?

  • @neonstar95 Nope!!!

  • @fresh Princess. lol. fa sho. she got mad control.

  • you did a fabulous job!!!!

  • this is one of the best!

  • I will admit that the end of this video makes me tear up a little.

"Dreams do come true in New Orleans."

    And I think sometimes it's true. =)

  • @greygolfer55

she also the HELL out of "Almost There". remember that long note she held at the end of that?

  • Check out my Princess and the frog Music video youll love it =D

  • I think this would have made an amazing trailer for the movie- it's got allot of amazing bits without giving away the ending. I can't believe this was fan made, it just looks too perfect!

  • i totally agree with you, i missed a lot human hand drawing in children movie... just like in the old good times

  • i didn't think i was gonna like this movie at first. i was SO wrong...i LOVE it!

  • @luvjennydang i was the same :D ...check out my princess and the frog medley on my youtube page and lemme know what you think!!

  • this is like an amazing trailer...its so wonderful...

princess tiana is my favorite disney princess now because shes beautiful inside and out....and she is a hardworking girl

  • This... is... awesome!! Can I use this in my classroom? I want the students to compare what they see in this clip to aspects of the Harlem Renaissance (the jazz, the dress, the society, time period, etc.).
