When I was younger (lol), I should say when I was into alternative/rock music in the 90's in the USA, I loved Natalie. As I got older, my musical tasted changed and I went towards more mainstream pop/dance/rnb/hiphop stuff - I'm still stuck in that phase, but I have followed Natalie's entire solo career and still do. She's one of the last remaining "artist" that I still follow.

Mr PeelTower; Natalie was invited to the DL show to promote her new CD which Natalie is now producing on her own dime, and is no longer controlled by a record label. The Late night show with Letterman is a very popular show which Natalie gets a spot on once and a while. David was just doing his best in the last few moments of the show to make sure Natalie's CD's name was aired. I don't think he was being anything other than concerned with that, and I am sorry that you think Americans are sick.

I think NM actually is. This phenomenally talented person seems to transform when she is not singing.I'm just glad she decided to share as much of herself as she has. She is a rare and brilliant talent.
