  • Can anyone tell me what the mixture is hes putting on the tissue to create the permanent form? I also need hints for WWII german camo netting. Thanks guys.

  • @fltopp1 This is achieved by using craft glue diluted with water. Tacky PVA (white craft glue) works best however, plain Elmer's white glue is sufficient. Be sure to let it dry thoroughly.

  • @fltopp1 You can use sheets of gauze such as that for bandaging, just separate the layers. Add foliage using whatever works in scale.

  • I love how this guy has the whole hobby shop at his disposal. . .

"Ah man, I need a can of spray!!!" *runs to paint stand* I envy him. With me I gotta hop in the car and go for a 40 min. drive. . .:-/

  • i like modellbuilding and i builded on of this in same as this too sharman like this

  • I think this guy is very skilled, and he shows you don`t always need an air brush!

But look at the tracks they do not look right how they hang over the return rollers,

the other thing i don`t like about a lot of these tutorials is trying to paint models

when there fully assembled, they just seem to spray brown paint all over the place to hide that fact they can`t get a brush in to all the corners. These guys are pro`s so they should know better!

  • @rayrex64 The brown serves two purposes. First, it's like a primer coat so that you can use less olive drab. If you were to spray O.D over the light gray, you'd need more paint because you'd see the gray peeking through in spots. Second, the brown also gives the model an undertone or shadowy effect for the final color. If you spray brown all over the model and then spray your O.D, you get a darker, deeper final color.

  • @burbdood Ive read your comments very carefully and looked at the clip of him Painting the Model again a few times. He is not spraying the Brown first he`s putting O.D on first then the Brown. The other thing is he`s then using NATO Green that`s the wrong Colour it should be deep Bronze Green, maybe he`s not got a can of it?

  • @ 7:43 Translation: This is what happens when you get stupid and paint the model after assembly; you get stuck between a rock and a hard place.

  • @GoodwoodAlpha What the hell are you talking about?

  • @GoodwoodAlpha From all the modelling mags Ive seen and read, the models are always completed before painting. Am I wrong on this?

  • PARABENS......

  • Tamiya square jars are enamel? And round is acrylic?

  • Holycrap this dude has his own stash of paints. Lucky :(

  • @Deathofblades I think he owns that hobby shop.

  • This guy looks a little like Jackie Chan, I am not being racist or anything. I really do see a slight resemblance. Please don't take my comment negatively.

  • you are a racist faggit

  • lrn2spell

  • How can I get my hands that SIRIUS rotating display table

  • HAAAAAAA QUE TRAMPOSO ES ESTE WEY, usa las pinturas de su tienda y despues las regresa para venderlas como nuevas jajaja. con razon luego algunas latas me duran menos que otras

  • this guys hobby shop is amazing... id bring a tent and sleep in there due to the fact theres so muh to see... lol

  • DML is now over Tamiya is basically all areas of the Scale Modelling market. They have a new Panzer IVH Late on the way.

  • while he uses the new DML kit, which was released circa 2004. i have the Tasca Firefly which retails for about 80$ Canadian. Its way better than dmls, plus i got the Armour Brigade models detail sets for it. I AM not saying the dml kit is bad. its just the same old DML predecessor with some new additions.

  • probibly Tamiya or Mr.Hobby.

  • SIRIUS

  • Mr Sufacer. It comes in small jars too 1,000 1,200 & 1,500, I use it and it's great shit. Dries fast and hard.

  • I just realized he is LEFT handed!

  • So am I! :-)

  • @JAGDPANTHER20 what does that mean? I'm left handed as well and I model

  • Your momma lined that shit up REAL nice like.

  • At 2:46 is that grey primer hes spraying on?

  • IT COMES OUT FINE IN THE END!!!

  • You just seem to judge stuff before it becomes the finished product. Get your facts right dumbshit.

  • Well sorry I don't speak Japanese backfired at you dumbshit. FYI: I mostly use Tamiya Spray Paint. You're making a big deal about me not knowing if it was primer but even though I asked the correct answer. You seem to judge the tank before it was even finished. And wow simply saying I am his mother was a very wonderful comeback. Grow up. Your just acting like an even more of an idiot.

  • These are great!

If only there were such shows here in the US!

  • I LOVE PAINT FUMES TOO!!!!

  • the best so far!

  • I find it funny that, this guy seems to be the owner/worker of a hobby store and he's building the kit in the store. Yet he can't find a spray booth or someplace better to paint it, other then the roof or floor. But, I must admit, he has some skills.

  • well at least its better than the guy who sprays inside with no fans or windows open!

  • Like a good salesman, he shows that people can put together a nice model, even without an expensive dedicated workshop. Which he has at home, I'm sure.
