I think it’s about despair caused by naïve immigration policies and failed multi-culturalism leading to Balkanised society.

Pretty much like modern Britain really.

It’s a much better film than 28 days later to which I often mentally compare it

@CharlesDickens99 The immigration policies are quite tough in this film and immigrants seem to be illegal. I don't understand how the despair is caused by immigration policies or how the director clearly has conservative views. This film has been accused of being liberal propaganda by some reviewers! Well this goes to show how differently things are seen by different people
