  • I can't wait for the 2010 agate hunt that starts around March... On January 18th (the sunny 30 degree days we had) I found a nice 6-8 oz red and white. I found it in a gravel pit that had a dropzone from the melting... It was the first January agate I've found too!

  • Where is this gravel pit?

  • Rock on brother, we have also been bitten by the agate rockhounding bug. Cya in july (Copper Harbor, and Keweenaw for vacation) any good spots?

  • im going to moose lake next weekend to agate hunt.....got any good spots to reccomend?

  • are you going to agate days in july

  • You mean Moose Lake? I'll be there God willing! I just picked another "top shelf" 11.3 oz the other day. I'll have to make a little vid of my best ones.

  • Dude! You are an agate nutjob....and I respect that...grovel on agate brother! Yours Truly, a west coast beach agate addict

  • I plan on pillaging as long as I am able...pass the eggs.
