Hi there! I agree with many of the things you've expressed. I also think that gay ppl are born gay and some very braves ones have decided to follow their hearts and live the life they want. But I don't agree when you compare being born gay with being born with some kind of disability (excuse me if I misinterpreted your comment) coz' to me, being born gay is a blessing; it means another way mother nature expresses its wonderful and colorful variety; it's natural and it's beautiful!! Being gay is okay. from what i read in the bible it never mentioned loving healthy relationships to be wrong regardless of gender.i think people are sometimes just translating the bible wrong.the thing it mentioned as bad is having sex with the same gender in a lustful way and such.the bible never mentioned a loving relationship between the same sex as bad.once again this just from what i know so far about the bible.

I'm a strong Christian and I fully support GLBT people. I think god loves you for who you are and that the greatest gift God ever gave us was the ability to love. I feel that as long as you serve God and love Him with all your heart, your sexuality doesnt matter.

[2] We walked up a high, dry hill. At the top of the hill, I looked below and saw a swirling river. There were no pits of fire or demons or evil spirits, only the large river flowing between unseen banks. The banks of the river were hidden in the darkness. Jesus and I walked closer to the river, and I saw that it was full of blood and fire.

@LoleexRU I've read lots of the bible. It's clear that this slavery endorsed by god is involuntary and brutal. The same kind of slavery with the African Americans. It is not voluntary where people work for food and shelter and can leave any time they wish. People are sold, inherited and beaten because they're considered property. If you read the Bible and also study it, you would see that God actually endorsed fair treatment of slaves or servants and detested the neglect of them for he loved/loves them too. The punishment for disobeying God's commandment for the Sabbath was a part of the Old covenant with the Jews. God Bless.

(3) I'm not comparing homosexuality exactly to this but being "born" with a different mentality doesn't not mean a person must stick to it their whole life. People are born with obstacles; Should you stand before them and not overcome them? I am a Christian and God tells us to love one another as brothers and sisters. Gay, Killer, Clay-eater, it doesn't matter, God wants us to love them and spread his Word which can only be found in the Bible he sent us.
(3) The a quite a few other cases other than homosexuality where a child could be a certain way from the beginning,that does not mean it is just acceptable to God. What makes me the maddest is comparing homosexuality to a handicap. @LoleexRU I've read lots of the bible. It's clear that this slavery endorsed by god is involuntary and brutal. The same kind of slavery with the African Americans. It is not voluntary where people work for food and shelter and can leave any time they wish. People are sold, inherited and beaten because they're considered property. If you read the Bible and also study it, you would see that God actually endorsed fair treatment of slaves or servants and detested the neglect of them for he loved/loves them too. People are born with obstacles; Should you stand before them and not overcome them? I am a Christian and God tells us to love one another as brothers and sisters. (3) The a quite a few other cases other than homosexuality where a child could be a certain way from the beginning,that does not mean it is just acceptable to God. Yes, God made us all a particular way and has a plan set out for us and yet He still gave us the ablility to choose. There are children who are "born" with Depression as well as there are children who are "born" with insensitivities, like children which could kill a person and not think it is wrong or steal the same.

(1) I agree that many many many churches twist the Word of God. It's important to follow HIS words and not allow anyone else to interpret them for you. One should find a church home where the Pastor or other religious leader teaches directly from the word of God but does not try to instill unsupported text or messages in your head. With that being said, one message has really been misspoken. God hates NOONE! He loves us all. It's simple: God loves the sinner, hates the sin.

Any organization proclaiming that "God hates...." anything, isn't worth considering. Not that I consider any religion worth considering. But, yeah, you can't be "saved" from homosexuality any more than you can be "saved" from heterosexuality, or brown eyes, or dark skin, or love for chocolate, etc. Some people are so insecure about themselves, that it bothers them that this thing they fear or makes them uncomfortable, exists, thus seek justification and support for hating it.

ing, but I just want to find some logic to this. I love you and God loves you. He hates (Prov 6: 16-19) the many sins that we, including myself, as humans do daily, but he does love all of us. I don't condemn you nor do I believe God immediately does. I do believe that with salvation comes new life. True salvation will have you turn away from many urges and yes those urges come back, but can' t compare to the joy of the Lord. Once again I'm just pointing out the message that I have got.

However, there are hundreds of books that were intended and written to be part of The Bible. Those books in the authorized King James version of the Bible were hand-picked by Catholics, not God. i totally agree with everything that you just said!! he made us this way for a reason!! people dont like something that is diffrent from them so they get freaked out its bullshit!! im hard of hearing and gay too, im born with both with it.. god made me this way and i dont see it as a mistake unlike other people do.. you couldnt have said this any better :) well said carly renee

What makes me the maddest is comparing homosexuality to a handicap. You were probably doing it for the purpose of getting people's minds to grasp that it's something you can't change and I get that, but still. Something different isn't always a handicap... just for whomever is reading this. I have red hair, but I'm not handicapped. It's not the norm, but still not a handicap. I am also a lesbian, and still.... not handicapped. I simply love women... and have red hair. haha.

Thank you especially for mentioning the people who try to take God's judgement into their own hands. Like you said, it's not their job (and even if they're "just trying to help," they NEED to realize they're only hurting, not helping)
And I thought the church tried to get away from the image of a fear-mongering God hundreds of years ago. As far as I can tell, getting away from that was a good thing, so why bring it back?

And frankly, if God's really as all-loving as people say, then I doubt he'll condemn me for eternity simply due to who I love.
Ironic that I watched this today though, since someone told me I act very "Catholic" (I try to be very polite and kind to anyone who treats me with respect) yet those same people claim that I'll suffer for all time simply because I'm in love with a man :P
