I've been searching for this song for like 4 years, i cant stop listening to it. i kept looking for 'the story of mr. jekyll and mr.hyde, and kept getting the who. and tonight TONIGHT google makes a good mistake and finds it. I totally attribute it to my little good luck girl =p
@biollante Don't feel bad because I've been searching for this song for a little longer than you and I did the same thing with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I was beginning to think I was crazy and the song never existed but I knew I remember this song from the Night Tracks when I was groing up. I am happier than a church house mouse! I found It! I found it!!!!!
Man, i played this song back in, i dunno, in elementary school- the 80's - and there was this kind of looking around at each other like, WTF is this. Classic is what.
Thanks everyone for the compliments. The original video was color, however, I ran an old film and sepia filter on this video to give it a more 19th historical feel.
@felipefrico nope. dr heckle and mr jive, this is an aussie band. instead of turning into a monster, its a scared of scientist, or something, that takes the potion, and turns into a party boy loved by many. dur.
The concept of believing the underdog will eventually survive is an alien concept in the new MTV culture. A different time, maybe a different world. Does anyone feel happy to be alive anymore? I mean truly happy, not in some delusional head-in-the-sand way we see with the paris hilton types. Amazing how much the world can devolve in 30 years, eh?
@ctdsnark I was sitting in my living room when MTV went live. COMMERCIAL FREE ROCK AND ROLL 24 HOURS A DAY. I watched MTV every day in middle school. Then one day I saw a commercial for Snickers. I turned MTV off and never went back.
I saw this video ONCE on MTV, back when MTV mattered. Then I never heard the song again until i watched it here on YouTube. About four hours later, I had the radio on in the garage, and I heard that harmonica start up... that is so creepy/cool!
Wow, there are a lot of songs I didn't know they were performed by Men at Work, and they are all good!
Underdog?

That mustache is awsome. Colin Hay is such an actor in all of their music videos. You've got to love it. Great song, great band.

Very funny video! Men At Work should've continued to do this in their careers. They would've been in The Rock And Rol Hall Of Fame by now.

I downloaded (lead singer) Colin Hay's 2007 solo album, Are You Looking At Me? and it's really worth a listen.

it's exactly like Jerry Lewis" "The Nutty Professor". It's a shame they didn't use clips from the movie for the music video.
