the reason they were allowed that close, is because the airshow was not very well equipped to handle those aircraft. a close friend of mine was the guy marshalling the 16 and there were only like 4 or 5 guys on that entire tdy to take care of the 15, 16 and a 10 that came from eglin for that show. they did not have parking arranged or taxiing prepped for them when the jets arrived and were not sure what to do when they arrived at the lakeland show.

it was quite loud, they had it parked, and that was the only taxi way out, and i guess they didnt put the barriers far enough away. it wasnt so loud tho that we were bleeding from the ears. and f16 was right behind that f15 taxiing out
