@heald111111111111111 Harder to Complete on Big Boss Extreme if you're going for the No Alerts, Cautions and stuff (Which unlocks Big Boss's Camo) but yea, easier if you're just playing through on the Hardest with out going for a Complete run.

Its called the manual...Im sure Snakes comics will teach you more than youtube....I mean they dont even teach you the two-handed weapon dis-arm/knock-down. Thats proably the best cqc move...even in MGO. Nobody expects somone with a two handed weapon to disarm you, throw you to the ground, and shoot you in the head...Unless its mother fucking Snake...He'll knock you out with a tv in his hands.

@DWadeheat03 when u press R1 to grab the dude u press X then u release R1 for a sec while u press analog stick to the left or right then quiqly press R1 and hold... and thats pretty much it

no you cant. The soldiers are all nanomachined up in that one. There are basically machines inside them that controlls their emotions during the battles and it shares their senses with one another. So with that being said, it doesnt make sense how if one soldier goes down that the other ones do not immediatly know. But whatever, its worth a buy for a single playthrough.

i swear in mgs3 it is Solid Snake but then he ages rapidly in mgs4 and turns into Old Snake so it was never his dad in mgs3

The only mention of Solid Snake in MGS3 was in an Easter Egg, the whole game, the character is Naked Snake, Solid Snake's dad you noob. It was the late 1960s in MGS3, so that would mean that Snake would have to be 60 to 70 plus years in the Solid series, play the original games dammit, Solid Snake actually had to FIGHT Big Boss twice. Snake only knew CQC in MGS4, then Kojima retconned that Snake always knew CQC since Big Boss taught him CQC before the Metal Gear series.

@ReikaiDemon Actually, Solid Snake techinically knew CQC during Metal Gear 1, and 2. But after that, Snake decided to put a ban on CQC, since Big Boss taught him it. When Metal Gear Solid 4 came out, he decided to lift the ban on CQC, since it became popular again.

I was somewhat disapointed you couldn't snap necks anymore. I realize the throat slash makes it unnecessary, but when I think Solid Snake, I think neck snap.

You can still neck snap in MGS4 guys... Once you knock someone out release choke and firmly press it again except REALLY hard and Snake will do one more jerky head movement which will kill them.

I'm just glad they added Rifle CQC. I just hope they remake MGS3 with the MGS4 engine, BUT MGS3 CONTROLS. And I think MGS4 is actually pretty cool since it's a mix of MGS2, MGS3, 007: Everything or Nothing, and Splinter Cell, in terms of the gameplay.

Its VERY splinter cell, just without all the cool acrobatics... I liked MGS4's story though it was short... but I really dislike how far it wanders from the series' "Oh fuck where do I go next?"

Yeah and in my opinion, that's the last thing MGS series needs to make it a perfect game. Splinter Cell had it, why not MGS? And I really wish they didn't use Raiden's aerial cartwheel and the MGS3 diveroll as a substitute. Just look at the Matrix games, they re-define the glitchy, but you can fly. I'm not saying Matrix games are bad, I'm just comparing how other games had the ability to jump and I see no reason to not have it in the MGS series.

Jumping would add many glitches, and besides.. would you want to be trying to shoot a potatotard jumping in the air dodging your bullets online? Jumping would take it too far... but like hanging off a building and pistol whipping would be uber smexage

In the old MGO a super player could take out like 5 guys in like 2 seconds. In MGO2 since you can crouch it makes the game more fluid and accesible. Without the crouching MGO was more skillful... And in MPO+ it IS only an expansion... though yeah, with the controls I would've loved the crouch function

Nope, you just need to use the knife on 50 enemies and CQC 50 enemies. Don't have to kill them, just Stun them with the knife and knock them out with CQC.
