Gal Costa is undoubtedly the best singer that Brazil currently has. Refined voice, polished, crystal clear, just wonderful. Thank God we have fantastic singers who have contributed much to Brazilian popular music. We can not forget Maria Bethania, Elis Regina, Marisa Monte, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Joao Gilberto, Tom Jobim, Vinicius de Morais, Alcione, Simone, Djavan, Adriana Calcanhoto, Ana Carolina, among many others.
